Super gut

We had a great vacation in Villa Marnika. The estate is well-tended and there was nothing that we missed. On the front of the Villa we had a stunning view to the sea side of the northern coast and to the Beach view of Sitia. There are many possibilities for trips, for going out for a meal and shopping tours. As we liked the pool and the environment so much we decided to stay some days in the villa instead of doing trips. Therefore we did only 3 trips in the week when we stayed there. This was Agios Nikolaos, VAI Beach and the Beach of Palekastro. Unfortunately we had only one week – far too short for staying at this beautiful side of Crete. All the best for Pantelis and Kate doing everything to offer us a wonderful vacation we will never forget. 😊

Das Haus steht abseits der Hauptstraße zwischen Olivenbäumen und ist von außen nicht zu sehen. Andere Häuser sind entfernt, man hört nur die Hunde und Hähne in der Umgebung. Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind sehr schön gestaltet. Das einzigen "Probleme", die wir hatten, waren die vielen Mücken draußen und dass die Matratze ziemlich durchhing, aber das ist Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt, Georgia war immer zu erreichen und sehr nett und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne Mal wieder, dann aber mit ein paar Freunden, weil wir uns zu zweit auf dem großen Grundstück manchmal etwas einsam vorkamen.

My wife and I spent 14 wonderful days in this stunningly beautiful house. The previous reviews have mentioned already everything: the privacy of the place, though not too fare away from shopping, restaurants and beaches. Grand Olive House is ideal to explore the beautiful landscape and the interesting sites of ancient times in eastern Crete. Although from our side to many excursions are not recommended because that would result in too much absence time from this gem of a house, offering so much quality time. We felt very comfortable there and Manias hospitability with her “welcome cooking” and a basket full of goodies (mostly delicious selfmade) saved us from searching for a Supermarket on our Sunday arrival. Thank you very much for your warm welcome and for sharing this beautiful place. It will be definitely not the last time we will spend a luxurious and relaxing vacation there.

Die Anlage ist ausgesprochen gepflegt. Der Garten sehr schön angelegt und der Pool eignet sich super zum schwimmen. Maria hat uns herzlich empfangen, sogar eine Flasche Wein lag im Kühlschrank und uns gute Tips für Unternehmungen gegeben. Auch griechischen Kaffe hat sie uns immer wieder angeboten .

First Time in Greece at all and we landed in (Crete in Sitia) and we stayed at Oceanides Lux Apartments 😊 LUCKY US 😊, Nektarios the owner of the Resort received us with a Bright Smile 😊 and Wide Hugh, so that we directly felt Welcome and in that moment, we had the feeling that we ware meeting an old Friend which we haven´t seen for a long time (it feels like “Great to see you again my Friends 😊). Very friendly …but without been overwhelming)! Oceanides is very close to the Airport (only 10 Minutes driving) and very close to the City and a Harbor with a Promenade with a lot of Restaurants: Oceanides Resort is in a large Beautiful and nice decorated Garden with Exotic Plants, Flowers and Palm Trees, with a Swimming Pool, nice and stylish decorated Apartments, with 2 Bedrooms, Kitchen, Bathroom and Balcony with a direct view to the Blue Sea and looks exactly like in the pictures! While you are Relaxing in the Pool area you have the view of the whole Haus where the Apartments are, and you have the feeling that you are in your own Garden in your own Villa and you start dreaming wanting to have it for yourself one day somewhere in your life time 😊 Very very friendly and polite people, super Service, Nektarios takes care of you from the arrival until departure, he takes care of everything, he gives you very important advises, where to go to discover the most beautiful Beaches and places, he explains everything very patiently and he gives you the feeling that he wants to make sure that you go to the right places and enjoy Sitia at all, a very good hearted and generous Man at all 😊 Thank you very Much Mr. Nektarios, we will come back again !!!
