Columbia County: Ferienunterkünfte mit direktem Pistenzugang

We stayed for three weeks at this awesome place. To start with the only thing we missed: A large table outside that is suitable for BBQ etc. This place has all the ingredients for a great, long vacation: It’s very clean (with weekly cleaning as a nice add-on), fully equipped with all necessary household electronics, a great garden and a stunning view across the Hudson River. It is also a great starting point for exploring the region with the nice city of Hudson, the Catskills (go to Colgate Lake for great outdoor swimming!) and plenty of breweries and wineries just short distances away. Though most guest might opt for a long weekend stay, we can definitely recommend this place for a longer stay, too.

Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Es wurde von Bill und seiner Familie liebevoll eingerichtet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Bei schönem Wetter lässt es sich prima auf der Terrasse aushalten wo auch ein komfortabler Grill steht, mit allem was man braucht zum Grillen. Wäre doch jede Unterkunft auf einer Reise wie diese, der Urlaub dürfte nie zu Ende gehen. Man merkt sofort, dass der Eigentümer hier kein Ferienhaus allein für Gäste vermietet, sondern hier sein eigenes Ferienhaus zur Verfügung stellt. Wenn noch das Wetter mitspielt...wow. Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein und man kann dort wirklich toll relaxen. Man hat in Hillsdale einen kleinen Markt in dem man sich versorgen kann und der ortsansässige Diner an der Tankstelle bietet gutes Frühstück und Abendessen. Weitere Restaurants ein paar Fahrminuten mit dem Auto. Absolut top und empfehlenswert. Sollten wir nochmal in dieser Gegend sein, ist diese Unterkunft Pflicht.
