Mayfield: Ferienunterkünfte mit Pool

We had a great stay at the Ashlands coach House in Burwash! The house is newly refurbished and the fotos of the house are very accurate. Our group consisted of 11 friends staying for four nights. On two of these we could use the pool and sit outside. Cooking was easy on this night, as the barbeque (gas) is right nearby. We unfortunately never got to try the hot tub (Jacuzzi), which would have been an experience. The quality of bed linen and towels is impressive as the amount of equipment in the kitchen. Due to rain, we also had dinner inside, which worked well at the large table. After dinner we sat in the lounge room, which is really cozy! The house is well located – we made excursions to the gardens of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst as well by foot to the house of Rudyard Kipling, the author of the Jungle Book. As we arrived from separate locations, we parked five cars which was no problem. The driveway to the house is not easy to find – please refer to the instructions given by Shawn.

We loved staying in Bibleham. It's a peaceful place with a garden that can be called a park. It's huge and we loved the peacocks that came visiting. Having a pool was wonderful as it was pretty hot during our stay. We liked cooking in the well equipped kitchen and also had a nice barbecue in the garden. Reading "Country Life" from the 70th, which are in the house as well as many books, was interesting and fun at the same time. The possibility to play table tennis and billiard and many boards games would have been great in a bad weather phase, which we luckily didn't need. Melanie was very helpful and friendly and we had a lot of nice email contact.

It is a wonderful and great cottage. Perfect for the whole family for relaxing and discovering the countryside and coast. I had never been in such a warm pool before.
