Weert: Ferienunterkünfte am Meer

The mill llies quite central in Belsele, a nice little town situated in the triangle between Antwerpen, Gent and Brussels. All cities are well in reach and Belsele even has a railway station for going there. The surroundings of Belsele are surprisingly interesting and there are many natural reserves along the Durme river that are truly worth a visit (birds, amphibia and even very good accomodations like the "Wuitensnest" near Hamme). Everything around our stay in the mill (reservation, accomodation and support) was very satisfying. Reception was easy and friendly, the help we needed with little problems was quick and easy. The building is beautifully restored and the flat itself is in the upper half of the tower-like building, stretching over three floors. The rooms' interiors are very modern but retains some of the feeling of living in a historical building. The only caveat (which comes with the type of building) is that you need to have some affinity to relatively steep wooden stairs; we very much liked it but it might need some consideration. All in all a great stay with friendly accomodation in a welcoming town.

Our stay was wonderful. We felt very comfortable when we returned to the accommodation after an eventful day. Communication with the landlord was uncomplicated. Highly recommended.

Property is a nice one. Enough for a small Family. Property owner was very friendly and ready to assist. Garage for the car just under an Apartment made the trip more convenient.
