Aci Castello: Ferienunterkünfte in den Bergen

We travelled in December and were very pleasantly surprised with both the weather and our apartment. The host kept us updated well in advance and just before we arrived he had to leave but organised a personalised check in with a very pleasant host who waited for us until late in the night and showed us the apartment in details. This is indeed a luxury compared to other places where all you get is a code which may or may not work (even in very digital environments such as in Oslo!). The apartment was very clean in every corner, and there was a generous welcome basket full of goodies waiting for us.....very thoughtful! The beds were comfortable and the shower perfect ...... so we had no need to miss the comforts of home. The entire place was tastefully decorated and cosy, unlike many other commercial flats such that I did not feel I was in a non-personal holiday home but felt at home easily. Amazingly there was some very helpful person readily available for help which is almost unknown of these days and deserves special mention. The view is fantastic on the roof terrace where we sat and drank our red wine under moonlight, sea in front and mountain in the back, until late at night one week before Christmas....forgetting all about shopping and work. We will certainly be visiting there again.

Es war wirklich wie nach Hause kommen. Das Haus ist so zauberhaft wie seine Gastgeber. Überall nette Ecken, so konnte man sich als Großfamilie auch mal zurückziehen. Die Jugendlichen genossen den Billardtisch und die kleineren Kinder den Pool. Wohnzimmer, Küche und alle Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da. Von wunderschönem Geschirr über alle Kochutensilien bis hin zur Grundausstattung mit Tee und Kaffee. Die Aussicht von Terrasse und Pool ist phänomenal. Daniela und Luigi kümmerten sich jederzeit um alles, was wir brauchten. Danke, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Wunderbare, moderne Wohnung mit privatem Garten und Meerblick. Ein architektonisch wohl durchdachter Rückzugsort, eine grüne Oase - ein Platz, der auf den ersten Blick zeigt: Hier werde ich mich den ganzen Urlaub wie Zuhause fühlen. Die charmante Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt bis hin zum abendlichen Licht-Design keine Wünsche für Behaglichkeit offen. Tagsüber laden die Gartenmöbel zum Chillen ein. Empfangen wird man von einem sehr sympathischen und angenehmen Gastgeber, der gerne auch Tipps für Ziele in der Umgebung weitergibt. Herzlichen Dank!

Anna and her family were more than friendly and helpful regarding our questions and special requests (we asked for the bbq for example). The Appartment/House is very nice, clean and well suited for 4 people. The garden is amazing and the sea is just across the Street. There is also the opportunity to go to a close beach club. We preferred to stay at the apartment as we didn't miss a thing. Bingo (turtle) and Bella (dog) are adorable
