We are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teenage daughters and we stayed at Malaya Villas for 1 week. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet space to stay in Bali, Malaya Villas is perfect for you. Off the beaten track, yet close East Bali National Park, Menjangan Island etc. The Villa we stayed in was absolutely breathtaking. Beautifully designed in all details with our own sizable pool and a garden that stretches all the way to the beach. The beach is quiet, no other tourists in sight. Just locals working in the neighboring pearl farm. The view from the beach is breathtaking, overlooking the Java coastline including the Sun setting behind the Ijen Volcano. The service at Melaya Villas is exceptional, the chef cooks delicious Indonesian and European dishes and the villa manager and his staff take care of everything. Most of the staff spoke English and was very helpful in helping us learn a little Indonesian and Balinese. So if you want to spend some time without a worry in the world - this is a place for you. Downsides? There is some rubbish that gets washed up on the beach, as a reminder that we all need to take better care of our environment. Also, it takes 4 hours by car from Denpasar to Melaya. But trust me, what you get in return is really special.

We recommend the Villa Malaya in all aspects: The houses are beautiful (combination of open space, closed bedrooms and half-open baths), the garden and pool are magnificent and we enjoyed the direct access to the wonderful beach which we "only shared" with the local fishermen. Especially the staff (perfectly led by Putu Leong!) needs to be mentioned. Putu (and the team) guessed our wishes before we even became aware of them, pampered us with delicious and various food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even climbed the coconut trees in the garden to let us taste the delicious juice. We also enjoyed several activities (kayaking, yoga (very professional teacher), excursions and visits to external (excellent!) restaurants) which were perfectly arranged by the team and sometimes even accompanied by them. A special thanks to Semmy Semara who drove us most of the times and gave us a lot of insight to Bali and its culture also due to his language skills (English and German!). A big thanks also to the manager Ferdi Sambo who helped us in a very friendly manner with all arising questions. All in all a wonderful time surrounded by wonderful people! Thank you for everything.

dieses Haus bietet eine Riesenmenge Platz, der Poolbereich ist wunderbar gestaltet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Umgebung bietet eine schöne Kombination aus Ruhe, Authentizität und Attraktionen - wenn man bereit ist, jeden Tag ca. 1-2 Stunden im Mietwagen oder auf dem Roller zuzubringen. Zusammengefasst: unbedingt eine Empfehlung wert!

Vielen Dank das wir in dieser Villa unseren Traum verwirklichen konnten. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal hat uns täglich jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Der Pool, die Liegen und die Nähe zum Strand - einfach perfekt. Mit den Scootern war es uns möglich die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir können diese Region für Ruhe suchende und wissbegierige nur empfehlen. Wenn man englisch sprechen kann, kommt man auch mit den Landsleuten in Kontakt.
