Santa Sofia: Ferienunterkünfte mit Whirlpool

- Great location: Close enough to the village of Poppi to walk in 5 minutes to a small supermarket, but at the same time isolated enough to allow you to do anything you want without annoying a neighbour. The villa is right next to a road and a train line, which you can hear – but after two days you won’t notice it anymore. - History close by: The historic mini-town of Poppi is a 40 minutes’ walk away and worth a trip. One can see the Torre from the pool. - Lovely property: The central kitchen/dining room as well as the individual apartments and their bathrooms look brand new and are furnished with great taste. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. Every apartment has its own WiFi. The garden is extremely well maintained with a manicured lawn, a nice big swimming pool, a hot tub, table tennis, and a playground. - Great host: Alessio, the owner, answers WhatsApp messages within minutes. Asked if the TV could be adapted to receive German channels (to watch football), Alessio got a technician the very next day (!) who climbed onto the roof to change the set-up of the satellite dish for us. Impressive.

We really enjoyed at stay at Villa Elisabetta. It's a beautiful traditional Toscanian house (which is over 100 years old) with a large enclosed garden. The pool is large, with a view on the old city of Poppi, and was perfect to cool down during the warm weather. Our dog had a lot of fun patrolling the grounds and chasing other animals. Monica and family were very friendly and regularly brought us excellent fresh pasta, lasagna, and ragu. We really enjoyed these traditional threats. We also got good tips on highlights in the region, and had a great wine tasting at Nipozzano Castle that Monica arranged for us. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and relaxing stay in beautiful Tuscany.

Das Anwesen ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, versprüht aber den alten toskanischen Charme. Wir hatten mit unserer Großfamilie mehr als genug Platz und einen tollen Urlaub.

We spend 2 weeks at the Villa in the fattoria caiano and the time there surpassed our expectations. Guido Gori has given us plenty of Information beforehand, the Place is a tuscany dream. The Villa with the original furniture and kitchen, the fattoria with all its history , the view , the flowers, the fresh and deep pool in the olive grove, the sunset, the surrounding woods and the village of Londa, the invaluable tips for excursions and restaurants by Guido , the waterfalls, the „apperitivos“together with Friends and Neighbours - everything authentic Guidos interest in Contemporary Art made some exzeptionell excursions possible. The Perfect Place for reading , relaxing, good wine and conversation , nature and history unmimited included.
