Portpatrick: Ferienunterkünfte für Familien

We spent two wonderful weeks at Corsewall Estate with our kids (8 and 11 yrs). Kate and Angus were extremely amiable hosts. The kids loved the Estate grounds with the trampoline and the playground with the zip line. It`s just a short walk to some very nice beaches (mostly rocky), too. Sandy beaches for bathing are also not really far, ~20 minutes by car. The surrounding has apparently not yet been discovered by a lot of tourists, which is somehow astounding given all the beaches and the nice things you can do and visit. Examples are some beautiful castle gardens (Glenwhan was our favorite but also Kennedy castle and Logan botanical gardens were nice), the ice cream factory of Cream o`Galloway and the highland coo farm Kitchen Coos and Ewes. We can definitely recommend to holiday at Corsewall!
