We found everything we needed for our short stay. When we asked for a third blanket we got it immediately. It was a quiet and well cared for little flat. Thank you for making our stay so nice

Amazing views with lots of wildlife spotting opportunities for eagles, hummingbirds, seals, otters. Fully equipped and very clean apartment with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Wonderful apartment at the lake with nice views, very well equipped and a very nice king bed ( heatable, which was nice as we have quite cold days) . The terrace at the lakefront is a superb highlight. Some bald eagles nest around and we saw them with their two cubs flying over the lake and sitting in the trees.

We enjoyed seven sublime days in this cozy nest. Thank you, Jennelle and Chris! We found everything we needed and far more - little signs that look like art, yet kept us aware of the conventions in the home; bird feeders filled, inviting a host of birds to the yard; field glasses - brilliant! - for getting a closer look at the Olympic mountains, bald eagles cruising overhead, harbour seals at the shoal, deer ambling past, ferries in the distance; extra blankets and towels; a tea and coffee assortment; bathrobes, and slippers and beach towels for the hot tub. And there was Jennelle's extraordinary art, strategically placed to invite us to slow down and enjoy the moment. No matter the weather, this is a place to enjoy nature whether indoors by the fireplace looking out through the wall of windows onto the water and trees, or out on the covered patio or on the path down to the fire pit. The location on Fox Island is a short drive to Zog's, the single gas station-grocery store-expresso stand with a Post Office directly across the street. Packaged goods were available at the grocery store for a reasonable price. For fresh produce we drove about 20 minutes to the Olympic Drive grocery stores. The old town of Gig Harbor is about another 10 minutes' drive from there. We recommend visiting the sand spit on the northwest end of the island and Kopachuck State Park.
