A wonderful cottage, modern, clean, huge and we missed nothing. Only the sleeping rooms were to bright to sleep through. We always recognize a good landlord by whether there is a rubber squeegee in the showers. And of course there were ;-) !! The owners were very helpful and friendly. We visited lots of castles, museums, gardens, abbeys and workhouses and made sightseeing in Newark, Worksop, Mansfield, Nottingham, Sheffield and Lincoln. Our most favourite city is Lincoln: so clean, lovely and varied. Not to forget Sherwood Forest und Robin Hood. And last but not least: within one hour we reached the motor racing circuits Cadwell Park und Donington Park. If we stop in Nottinghamshire again, we will definitely book “The Cottage” by Richard & Wendy again!!

We enjoyed our holiday in the Granary very much: We had a warm welcome with cake, tea and milk. The cottage was spacious, well equipped, cosy and warm. There was everything we needed. Thanks very much to Stephen and Carol
