It is a really great place with great facilities like the pool, the the bbq place and all the outside places where you can eat or relax. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with great view over de surrounding mountains. The owner is very nice and helpful.

The provinces of Malaga and Granada have a wonderfully stable climate in autumn, allowing you to enjoy a variety of activities.

Ein perfekter ruhiger Ort mit absoluter Privatsphäre und wunderschöner Aussicht. Wir waren von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und absolut sauber, ebenso wie der Garten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und helfen gerne weiter. Absolute Empfehlung.

We spent three weeks as a family at this wonderful place and were really sad when we had to leave. First the location is fantastic because from Orgiva you can easily visit the picturesque Alpurrajas and white villages, the Sierra Nevada, Granada and and the Costa Tropical! The house has a beautiful garden with a private pool for the guests which was big fun for our five-year-old son and just a nice place for sunny afternoons.The house itself was very clean and the big garden was well maintained. You have a gorgeous view over the mountains from the porch and garden and live close to nature without any noise from streets or town. Moreover, Sheila and Jack were the most friendly hosts we have ever met. They gave us many tips about sights, places and events and were really helpful and caring. We will come back!

Authentisch, gastfreundlich, ruhig. Sehr erholsam.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful house in the mountains. The view from the upper terrace is fantastic and we also really enjoyed the pool, especially the teenage children. The house has everything it needs and is lovingly furnished. The path to the house takes a bit of getting used to, but you are in a quiet and relaxed environment. The caretakers Esther and Paco are very helpful and gave us lots of tips. Thank you very much! Communication with the owners was very straightforward and friendly. The accommodation is definitely highly recommended!

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Sehr authentisches, gemütliches Haus mit einem prachtvollen Garten mit Organgen- und Zitronenbäumen und vielen farbenfrohen Pflanzen und Blumen. Eine kleine Oase der Ruhe mit schönem Ausblick auf die zerklüffteten Alpujarras, nur wenig außerhalb Orgivas. Janet ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Danke!

Wir haben die 12 Tage im Cortijo El Potro sehr genossen. Alles entsprach der Beschreibung, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man kann gut zu Fuß in den Ort Orgiva gehen( ca. 15 Minuten ) . Dort gibt es viele nette Restaurants, oder man kocht in der wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche selbst. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort sind gut, es gibt Supermärkte, Bioladen, Metzger , Bäcker..... Orgiva ist kein hübscher Ort, aber man ist weit weg vom Touristenrummel und man erlebt das authentische Andalusien. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in der Sierra Nevada, Ausflüge nach Granada oder ans Mittelmeer. Alles ist schnell erreichbar. Unser Vermieter war sehr umsichtig, immer für uns erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Er hat uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung gegeben. Unser Fazit: wer keinen Wert auf Massentourismus legt und gerne Land und Leute kennenlernen möchte, der ist hier bestens ausgehoben. Wenn man auf der Terrasse des Cortijos sitzt fühlt man sich ein kleines bisschen wie im Paradies.... Danke Oliver, wir können das El Potro nur weiterempfehlen.....
