the villa is amazing! The Pool is very uge!! And also the view to the des was spectacular . we were a group of 9 women and had a lot of space and fun. Everything that the other rater wrote before us, is True and Applies also for us. there is nothing more to add. If you want to have vacation in a great House with a large pool and a view to the sea, you've come to this villa. we highly recommend the villa . Wir haben das (u.a. mit Klimaanlagen) gut ausgestattete Haus, den Pool und das große Grundstück sehr genossen. Bei schweren Gewittern war die Elektrizität beeinträchtigt. Auch war das Internet zu langsam, um Filme zu sehen. Der Gastgeber war uns am Tag der Ankunft freundlich zugewandt. Er reagierte später per E-Mail zügig auf alle unsere Fragen. Wegen der Abfahrt am ganz frühen Morgen konnten wir uns leider nicht von ihm persönlich verabschieden. Aber trotz anstrengender Exkursionen haben wir uns gut erholt.

Die Terasse und der Aussenbereich haben wir sehr genossen. Wunderbare Zugänglichkeit zum Wasser, eine tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht mit schönen Sonnenaufgängen. Der Aussenbereich ist schön natürlich beschattet, die überdachte Terrasse lädt zu Mahlzeiten draussen förmlich ein. Sehr herzliche Vermieter, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und uns sehr gut erholt!

Romantic, clean, lovely hosts, terraces with beautiful view

The house was huge and well appointed, the pool was also huge, the size you'd expect at a hotel, the kids loved it. The deep end is 3 meters deep and the shallow end is about 1.4 so little children need armbands at all times because they cant stand anywhere. The house is very private sat within its own grounds. Its the best house I've ever stayed at and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has a few decent restaurants within walking distance along with the sea front, but there isnt much else. I do have a big warning to people visiting, there are large loose/wild dogs all along the seafront. We didnt have a car for the first few days, choosing to walk into Kemena Vourla to the supermarket, which is 6k away. We left early before the heat really took hold and had a nice walk, being largely left alone by the dogs besides one that jumped out of a yard to bark at us. Others who we traveled with tried the same the following day and were chased by the dogs. If you are at all nervous around dogs you do genuinely need a car, because they will run after you if you run from them. Kemena Vourla itself is very nice, full of good bars and restaurants, the sea breeze really cools you down. And the Monument at Thermopylae is worth a visit for a few hours, its only 20 minutes away by car.
