We really enjoyed our stay here. The position was excellent with lots of restaurants close by. Although small , the apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Zeta was most helpful, giving us clear instructions on arrival and recommended some excellent restaurants and points of interest. Thoroughly recommended!

Full of character located in the heart of the lovely small city of Setubal. The host was very helpful and the accommodation easy to find and access. We opted for the studio as we were only staying 4 nights. It was perfectly clean and functional but also has a little added charm that would appeal to romantics. Good base to explore the city and the surrounding region that is well worth visiting.

The flat was utterly charming. Two rooms: one, a bedroom with plenty of storage space, beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and shutters, a comfortable bed with lamps and bedside tables - and the other: a living and kitchen area also with large window, a fold-out sofa, cushy chair, tv, kitchenette with coffee, tea, fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven, counter with stools. A welcome gift of Muscato was a nice touch. There is heat and airconditioning. The location was amazing, mere blocks from shops, the plaza de Bocage, the Misericordia plaza, the Port of SetĂșbal where we caught a ferry to Troia, and literally 50 restaurants. On the first floor (in America, the 2nd floor), it was at rare times a lttle noisy. But, after 10 at night and before 7 am, was as quiet as could be. We loved having fresh air at night, and being right in Baixa, Old Town SetĂșbal! The lovely bathroom completed the flat and had a hair dryer, shower, toilet, sink, ample soaps and creams and lots of shelf space - so convenient when traveling. This flat is in an old building but has been beautifully renovated. Electric receptacles were plentiful as was the hot water.

Very inviting appartement

Very nice small place. We loved it right away. We had everything we needed to prepare our meal except for an oven but we managed fine. We also loved being in the city center, it’s quite nice to visit. Parking ain’t easy but we found a free street parking first day and second day we paid for one. The only negative point is that it is NOT sound proof between the floors. If you have a neighbour on top floor, you will know without a doubt with kids running, chairs moving

My friends and I were very pleased with the property. It is located in an older area of Setubal and we so enjoyed the ambience of the area. All the amenities were close by i.e. a huge market, grocery store, buses, trains and yet within our cobble-stone streets were various food stores and shops selling everything imaginable. An empty suitcase recommended! This location is a safe area to wander about enjoying the culture of the area and the many cafes and restaurants. People very friendly and helpful. Close by is the waterfront and many parks for exploring. If you chose to stay here, enjoy the church bells which mark time. I know we miss them.

Charm in the centre of Setubal

Superb accommodation! The location couldn’t be better, you are right in the centre of Setubal. Restaurants, shops, laundry and everything you could possibly need is just steps away. Very pleasant walks to tourist information, municipal market and the port. The apartment is super clean and very well equipped. Everything that needed in the kitchen, is there. Proper wine glasses and the corkscrew waiting for you! The place is very nicely decorated, I stayed in the “Sardine Room”and it was artsy. The bed is good, the bedding is nice. There is enough towels, there is a hairdryer and an iron. The host is super easy to communicate with, she speaks perfect English, and she will also arrange a very reasonable airport transfer. It couldn’t be better!

The first time we walked in this apartment, we immediately fell in love and couldn’t control our excitement.  I found this place to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. You won’t even spot a dust in this apartment. The bathroom and shower was excellent. It was very tidy and got everything you need. (blow dryer, toilet paper, shampoo, towels,etc.) The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen so convenient! The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distances. However, it was very quiet when you were in the loft. You just have to walk a little to awesome cafes and shops! There is also a big grocery store nearby. Our Host was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when she welcomed us. We even had some problems because we had a delayed trip, but our host was so accomodating and instructed us what to do! I would definitely come again!

Our stay at Cafofos da Zeta has probably been the best stay we have had in an apartment up to now. The host, Liseta was very friendly and welcoming. The response from her was very quick and instructions on how to get in was very easy. She is lovely and even suggested places to eat and go, so thank you. She was happy to help and answered any questions we had, also she checked in on us, making sure that we were ok and having fun. Once we entered the room, it felt like home, the whole interior and decoration, it was definitely to our liking. It was spacious and there were little things here and there that made it cute, it is a cute looking, quaint room. I liked that there is this little part of the room, where there is a wardrobe and drawers, it had a full length mirror, and opposite the drawers there is a little cushioned bench and above that is a window that opens inwards. Also by the bed there is a door which opened inwards to a tiny balcony, you could step out a little and see the tiny streets, it was beautiful. The kitchen is nicely tucked away, with all the appliances you need in a kitchen. The bathroom is lovely, it had shower gel and shampoo. Part of the experience in Portugal was the accommodation, staying at Cafofos da Zeta completed our holiday. It was nice to return back after a long day to a nice homely room, it was comfy and cosy, the place was lovely and it had everything you need. So thank you Liseta for making our stay in SetĂșbal, a great experience.

Liseta a Ă©tĂ© une EXCELLENTE hĂŽte, des plus attentives et toujours Ă  disposition pour nous! L’endroit Ă©tait vraiment trĂšs propre et honnĂȘtement nous avions l’impression de se sentir « à la maison » mais au Portugal. Les environs Ă©taient bondĂ©s de petits restaurants, de marchands locaux, d’épiceries & boutiques diverses. C’était agrĂ©able de pouvoir s’y promener en journĂ©e mais aussi de pouvoir y vivre le « night life » de fin de soirĂ©e avec tous les petits bars et restaurants Ă  proximitĂ©. Ce fut deux jours des plus mĂ©morable qui ont passĂ© vraiment, mais VRAIMENT trop vite
