Overall, we had a good stay\. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds, very good air conditioning, a great location and good security\. The facilities were well set up for people who are looking for a well\-equipped apartment, although the property was a little dark\.
Unfortunately, the issue around payment had a significant negative impact on our stay\. I had paid Expedia in full in July, and when the property initially contacted me saying they had not received payment, I immediately provided my Expedia receipt clearly showing that the accommodation had been paid in full\.
Despite this, I continued to receive messages telling me that I needed to pay, rather than the property resolving the payment issue directly with Expedia\. On the final day, I had to spend time coordinating with Expedia myself to try to resolve an issue that was between the property and Expedia\. I was then contacted again at around 8:50pm the night before departure and told that the property still had not received payment\.
I understand that payment and reconciliation issues can occur, but once I had provided clear evidence that I had paid Expedia in full, I felt the matter should have been handled between the property and Expedia rather than repeatedly asking me to make payment\.
Aside from this issue, we enjoyed the accommodation and found it comfortable, spacious and well located\.
