I am extremely disappointed with this apartment and the way this entire situation was handled. We couldn’t even stay in the apartment because the level of cleanliness was completely unacceptable. The bed sheets had a significant amount of hair and visible stains. The couch was covered in animal hair, which was especially problematic for me because of my allergies. I sat on the couch for only a moment, and when I got up, my clothes were covered in animal hair. There were also stains and what appeared to be animal feces smeared on the floor. I immediately tried to contact the host to address the situation, but I received no meaningful response. It has now been almost three weeks, and the host still has not called me. Even Expedia was unable to get in contact with the host. As a result, I lost my money for a place that was so dirty and unsanitary that we could not even stay there. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I understand that unexpected problems can happen, but the lack of cleanliness, the condition of the apartment, and especially the complete lack of communication from the host are unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that other travelers think twice before booking this property. I expected a clean and safe place to stay, and unfortunately, that is absolutely not what we received.
