Not your average cottage…not a cottage at all. It’s a single detached home with direct access via a three tier deck to Tatamagouche Bay. Step out of a gorgeous sunroom onto your 54 foot deck completely furnished. Gas BBQ. Fire pit. Amazing views of the water, mountains and landscape. Fully equipped kitchen. Separate dining room with picture window accommodates 8+ Family room with gas fireplace, television and sliding door to the deck and view of the bay. Sunroom with double door access to deck. Main floor bedroom with queen bed and access to jack & jill bathroom. Upstairs are three additional bedrooms. Bedroom 1 queen bed and view of the bay. Bedroom 2 double bunk with single top and trundle bottom and crib. Bedroom 3 master bedroom with king bed sitting area and vaulted ceilings, master bath with shower and tub and double sinks. Additional upstairs bathroom with shower. Finished basement with laundry room, additional carpeted room and family room and games room.

Three generations spent a great week in Malagash relaxing, walking the beach, swimming in the warm waters of the Northumberland straights. The house is absolutly beautifull and better equiped than our house at home. The view from the balcony is spectactular and meditative. Thankyou so much!

What a perfect stay!!!

Simply a little jewel in Malagash/Tatamagouche.A lot of rooms for everybody and our Golden Retriever was also in love with all the space outside and the access to the bay.

This was one of the most well equipped and beautiful rental properties my family has ever stayed at. The property itself far exceeded our expectations (pictures of the home and property do not do it justice!). The home was spacious, uncluttered and provided more than enough room for our large group. Everything we needed for our stay was included, even basic spices and cooking oils. The deck was a favorite spot to hang out!The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Incredible property that was perfect for our multigenerational family and dog. The host is wonderful and very communicative, answers questions very promptly and is super helpful.This place is spacious, pristine (super clean and modern), well equipped (we loved the puzzles!), and situated in an excellent location for delicious food and drink (Jost winery, fresh oysters and lobsters, Malagash Cidery, Tatamagouche Brewery). We loved all the comfy seating and the view of the ocean throughout the space. There was a thoughtful mix of places to gather for a meal or board game and places to tuck away for quiet reading. We’d love to come back another summer!

Beautiful area

The home had everything you would need for a wonderful, stress free time. Plenty of room for our multi generational group and lots of space to chill out and relax with others or to find a quiet space and time for yourself. The host has thought of everything.

Beautiful home, amazing sea views, exceptionally clean, amazing communication and recommendations, only downfall was veracious mosquitoes. If anything, the information on the site undersells what an amazing place this is. It’s spacious, thoughtfully-designed, clean and classy. The wide ocean-front lawn is perfect for kids. The owners and the properry managers have been a pleasure to interact with. A million thumbs up.

This was a wonderful home for us to stay with our extended family. Everything was wonderful - the view to the water was spectacular; the back deck was a great place to hang out; and the kitchen was so well stocked. The entire main floor and upper floor were perfect. We did battle some mosquitos (omnipresent at that time all over NS), but the owners left an arsenal of thermacells, bug spray, electric bug zappers that were all well appreciated. The only detractor was that you should not count on using the bedroom in the basement as there is an overwhelming smell of mould. The owners were obviously trying to deal with it having installed an industrial fan, but I could not stand being down there. Thankfully there was plenty of bed space on the main and upper levels.Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Thank you for reviewing our property, Chris. The bedroom in the basement is not advertised. It’s just there for overflow if anyone needs it however, the ofour in the basement is from the epoxy floor that was done. The only ventilation down there is from the windows, which are very seldom open by guests. We recently had the basement checked for mold and there’s no evidence of any whatsoever. It’s unfortunate.that You couldn’t enjoy the basement however, the top two floors seem to have provided you with what you needed. Thank you very much for the opportunity to host you and your family and for the positive review.
