This place had a old smell to it didn’t like the stay dirty dishes and loud noise in the basement pillows in bedroom closet were dirty needs upgrade

From the owner: Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the cabin did not fully meet your expectations. During your stay, we reached out to check in, but unfortunately, we did not receive any concerns at the time. The issues mentioned were first raised after checkout, so we did not have the opportunity to address them during the stay. We’ll still review the items mentioned with our cleaning team, as guest comfort is very important to us. We also want future guests to know that concerns regarding odors or basement noise have not been typical feedback from past guests, including those who stayed immediately afterward. We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to provide a great experience for our guests.

Highly recommend to anyone for a relaxing getaway!

We had such an amazing time at this cabin! It was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The whole place felt cozy and welcoming. We especially loved hanging out by the beautiful lake and soaking up the gorgeous views and the sun — it made the trip so relaxing. We’d definitely love to come back!

Perfect Lakefront Getaway

Beautiful cabin with fantastic lake views! The home was bright, spotless, and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. We especially loved relaxing on the deck and soaking up the scenery. A perfect family getaway — we’d love to come back!

Great stay. The cabin was exactly as described and the community amenities were incredibly. There's some very nice largemouth bass in the lake so being your fishing poles.

A perfect stay for a wedding weekend! As the family of the bride, this was our home base for holding ceremony & reception decorations beforehand. We also had plenty of room for prep work on the wedding flowers!Property really exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our stay!

Amazing fall getaway

We stayed at this cabin in October and absolutely loved it! The views from the deck were incredible — vibrant fall colors everywhere and the crisp mountain air made it feel magical. We could’ve spent all day just sitting outside watching the leaves change and listening to the acorns fall.The cabin was spotless, cozy, and perfectly set up with everything we needed. After hiking the nearby trails and enjoying the fresh air, it was amazing to come back, light the fireplace, and relax. You can tell the owners really care about keeping it clean and comfortable.If you’re looking for a peaceful fall getaway with beautiful scenery, cozy vibes, and great hikes close by, this place is perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Snow for Christmas

We wanted snow for Christmas and we got it. We loved the view and the cozy living room with fireplace. The deck is huge and roomy and must be wonderful in the summer!

Here’s a sharper, more concise version you could post on Vrbo:---The view was beautiful and the deck was perfect, but overall the house felt understocked and too small to comfortably accommodate our group. The kitchen was missing basic items (more pots, mixing bowls, whisk, adequate potholders) and supplies like dish liquid and trash bags were limited. There weren’t enough towels, the dining table was too small for our party, and the living room didn’t have enough seating or lighting for everyone to gather. While it technically sleeps 8, the space is tight. The pizza oven was falling apart, and the swing was set too low. Compared to other Alpine Lake rentals we’ve stayed in, this home needs restocking and updates.

The home is a three-bedroom cabin with a pull-out couch added for extra comfort, and while it can sleep up to 8, we understand that for groups of 8 adults, the setup may feel a little tight. We’d love to welcome you back anytime—fall brings gorgeous hikes and colors, and winter is perfect for cozy nights by the fire. Hope to host you again soon!”

The house is very beautiful.. But there is a severe roach problem. While trying to warm up dinner on the stove. Roaches started coming out (out of the stove)from everywhere. Then we began to notice roaches coming from ceiling and crawling down the walls. I tried to continue to cook while killing roaches. I contacted the owner he told me that he sprayed, but you still have crawling things in Florida. Not true I don’t have roaches crawling all over my kitchen, and most definitely not to the point that you stop cooking and pack up your food because the roaches continue to come out from. We attempted to enjoy some cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday and the roaches took over it was a total disaster. The towels and linen supplies seemed to be the original towel set that was purchased with the home in 1990. I believe the property owner actually is aware of this and just playing it off. There was some home defense bug spray from Home Depot in the closet, but this home needs a professional exterminator. The dart board had was nice, but the darts broken and taped up to connect the tips. The pool table was in a great location. The cloth on the table with torn/ripped. A number to the pool stick had the tip broken off of them. Even the jump cue tip was broken off. Completely disappointed I want a refund do not stay at this property until documented extermination is posted and updated changes are made.
