We live locally also and are available anytime we are needed.

Central Fremantle is a vibrant and historic neighbourhood located in the heart of Fremantle, Western Australia. Just steps from the iconic Fremantle Markets, this area is known for its lively atmosphere, heritage architecture, and eclectic mix of cafes, bars, boutiques, and street performers. It’s a walkable, bustling precinct that blends old-world charm with a modern, bohemian vibe, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Nearby attractions include the Fremantle Prison, Bathers Beach, and the Fishing Boat Harbour, all within easy reach.

You have access to the entire Townhouse during your stay.

Walk into the living area with the kitchen just off the living area. Fully equipped and modernized for cooking at home.

There is a dining room just off the hallway and if you continue through to the outside area there is an undercover deck , a table and chairs to enjoy your meals outdoors.

There is a laundry with washing machine and bathroom with shower and vanity and toilet .
Up the stairs you will find an office area , two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet .

Large balcony which is fabulous for watching people pass by.

- This is central Fremantle and it can get noisy in the evenings especially on weekends .
- Stairs are narrow and steep as they are the original stairs from way back in the 1850's

Amazing historic property

Loved Freo, the property and the location. Especially loved the back verandah, the trees and the birds. Easy access and parking were great, also. Night club patrons were a little less lovable.

The host was very welcoming. Summing up I would say the house had many pros and cons.Pros, very central, moments away from the pubs restaurants and easy walk to heritage sites and the Market is literally on the doorstep! ( on Friday, Saturday, Sunday) It Was clean ( see cons) bedding was just lovely, felt great and very comfortable. Cons I know this is a very old heritage house but it is very tired, it needs a good overhaul it looks grubby but actually isn’t really. It needs a coat of paint and some remedial work on the plaster! This house has very steep and narrow tread stairs which I found very challenging! But even my very fit daughter said were difficult! This is part of the old building and part of the charm but think it should be mentioned in the description. By far the worst thing for me was the noise! There is a nightclub about 100 m away ( again not the owners fault but a visitor needs to be aware of this) the music was VERY loud and continued till 5 am on Halloween! Which was on Saturday. I don’t know if this is the case every weekend! It’s a beautiful old building If I was in my 20s I would have been really happy and we enjoyed being in the centre on the week days. The hosts very very receptive and helpful when I had an issue with the keybox as we were leaving.
