Pull the comfortable Adirondack chairs around the wood burning FIRE PIT on the giant dock right at the water's edge and create lifelong memories day or night. Or you can relax on the big semi-circle cushy couch with gas burning FIRE PIT on the raised deck over the boathouse. For those who prefer some shade, there is also a covered table and chairs on the boathouse deck. The main two levels of the home both have full length decks, and there is even a private deck off the Master Bedroom. All these living areas offer plenty of furniture, so the group can all gather, or break into small groups and still have your own private space to enjoy.

The inside of this exquisite home is a decorator's dream. The decor is stunning, and we guarantee that every day you walk thru the home you will notice something new. Immediately as you enter, views of the lake will pull you thru the home as you pass a custom carved Bear Newel post directly to the lake view deck. The light and bright main level lake view living room features high vaulted ceilings, stone GAS FIREPLACE, wood floors, antler chandelier, giant 65 inch SMART TV, and ample seating for everyone. The open floor plan connects the living room, dining area and kitchen. The lake view dining table seats six for mealtime, playing one of the many board games provided, or planning the next day's activities on the lake. Adjacent to the dining table is a breakfast bar with three leather bar stools ideal for overflow seating, morning coffee, or just talking with the cook. Steps away is a fully equipped lake view kitchen with all the dishware, cookware, and utensils you will need for preparing vacation meals. It has plenty of counter space, refrigerator freezer, double oven, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Right outside is a GAS GRILL. Rest assured, the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to prepare gourmet meals, as the Homeowner was a regular on the TV Food Network.

Completing the main level are two Guest Rooms. The first Guest Room called the Trout Room features stunning Lake Lure decor and a very open feeling with high vaulted ceilings. Accents include a birch and wood double headboard copied from Walt Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and a classic trout theme with original art and posters. It features a double bed, two nightstands with reading lights, dresser drawers, and a large closet. The second Guest Room is called the Bear Room, also with splendid original themed artwork. Family members of all ages can enjoy the massive log bed bunk bed with double mattress on top and queen mattress on the bottom. This helps tremendously with sleeping flexibility for the group. Other details include vaulted ceiling, nightstand with reading light, and chest of drawers. Even the bathroom on the main level has the same magnificent Camp theme with oversized curved bathtub, Ralph Lauren plaid shower curtain, and custom tin and birch wainscoting.

Up a short set of stairs is a private Master Suite paradise. The most amazing feature is the private covered deck where you can relax away from the rest of your group. The room features vaulted ceilings, sliding glass doors to the deck, a king size bed, two nightstands with reading lights, dresser drawers, and a closet. The exquisite decor of the bathroom matches the bedroom and features a walk-in tile shower with glass doors.

But wait, there's more. Let's go downstairs to another large living area known as the Bat Cave. Here you find a second living room, equally as impressive as the one upstairs. It has plenty of luxurious seating to gather around the stone GAS FIREPLACE to watch the enormous 75” SMART TV. For additional sleeping flexibility, there is a pull-out queen sofa bed with upgraded mattress and no mattress bars, the ultimate in comfort. A full bathroom is located downstairs for your convenience with large walk-in shower, copper sink, and birch cabinets. When it's time to relax outside, you can enjoy the full-length covered lake view deck. Plus, one necessity a vacation rental lake home needs, a laundry room!

Access roads and essential services, including power, water, and WiFi, have been restored, thanks to the hard work of contractors and volunteers. While the Chimney Rock area, Lake Lure beaches, and waterfront are currently closed, there are still many nearby attractions to enjoy.
Area restaurants, including those in Lake Lure and Asheville, are reopening, and there are many activities available within an hour's drive, including golf, wineries, breweries, music, trails, waterfalls, and more. Tryon Equestrian Center is hosting some Chimney Rock businesses affected by the storm. Saluda, Hendersonville, Forest City, Asheville, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC, all make great day trips.
