Sunny, modern, and clean guesthouse in Daisy Hill, leafy and convenient location

Conveniently located and surrounded by parks, bushwalks, and greenery, our guesthouse is modern, bright, clean, and fully self contained.

The location is walking distance from John Paul College and its playing fields, and is a short drive to Brisbane CBD (20 minutes), theme parks (25 min) and the Gold Coast (40 min).

With all the home comforts and great amenities nearby, our guesthouse is suited to both short and longer stays.

There are two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom has a single bed and a single trundle bed (slides out from under the main single bed). Please let us know if you will be using the second bedroom so we can make up the beds (we only make them up if required).

The guesthouse is located at the back of the block, behind the main house. There is a private entrance to the guesthouse.

John and his wife couldn’t do enough for us. I even used their recommended hair dresser. The secure dog area was very reassuring.The premises was very clean. The little extras like salt,pepper, sugar coffee etc etc was very useful. We loved our 16 days so close to everything. Walking distance to some things. Check out lunch at Chatswood Hills Tavern. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised by this granny flat/unit. It was roomy, clean and very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The bed was awesome and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again on our trip to Brisbane.

Very little privacy, only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people over 3 days, in the photos online, it shows a big park etc, Nope thats a school and the gates were locked. A little pricey for its size, and the vacuum didnt work, BUT the beds were comfortable and it was very clean, close to amenities also easy to get to.

Hi Debra, I apologise about the toilet paper, the cleaners must have missed topping it up. We would gladly have brought some more over had we known about it. Regarding the parks, the photos I have are all of parks that you can access, not the school. Lobelia Park, Parkway Park, and the Village Park are all within walking distance and Village Park has an off leash dog area. I would gladly have provided more detailed instructions on how to find them.

Better than expected!!

Great place to stay, couldn't fault it. Comfortable little 2 bed unit, full kitchen and Bathroom. Was nice and cool with the fans, we didn't even need the air-conditioning. Definitely recommend anyone wanting a private, comfortable accommodation close to everything needed.

Very comfortable

My sister and I stayed 4 nights in this comfortable, accessible 2 bedroom guest house. It was nice to be able to unpack and feel at home. We even cooked a couple of meals in the well equipped kitchen. Lovely and quiet but very handy to the M1.

Hi Terry, I am very sorry to read this review. Our unit has warm woolen blankets in the main wardrobe for visitors use and hesting via the main air conditioning unit, it should not have been cold for you. I wish you had contacted me during your stay eith your concerns and we would have helped you. Regarding the second bed not being made up, I apologies for not asking directly how many you needed but there is an instruction asking visitors to notify me if you do need the second room, otherwise we end up washing double the amount of sheets unnecessarily if people only end up using the main queen bed.

Daisy Hill stay.

The property was very convenient to the relatives we were visiting. Clean and comfortable. Privacy could be maintained from the main house. Hosts provided more teabags when requested, which was great. Some instant coffee would be great. We would definitely recommend and use again. Joanne.

Great place to stay in Daisy Hill

This granny flat was in immaculate condition. It has been well designed and is spacious. There is a dishwasher, hair dryer, washing machine and even a coffee pod machine - well above what we expected! The only downfalls we found was the cleaner had forgotten to leave toilet paper - which the host quickly rectified. Also, one of the single beds only had a base sheet, no top sheet, so we had to borrow bedding from friends nearby. I can't imagine this was done on purpose as everything else in the flat was meticulous..
