First floor 1-bedroom Apt with off-street parking
Summary:
The perfect private apartment while staying in downtown Baton Rouge. Recently updated and stylishly furnished, with warm natural light shining into the windows. Amenities on the property include fast wi-fi, private patio, and laundry facility. The apartment is also walking distance to a highlight of Baton Rouge, Government Street, & close to many other beautiful sites worth visiting.
The Space:
The right spot for longer stays. Includes everything you will need while visiting or working in Baton Rouge. Open living room and dining area, one bedroom one bathroom, tile throughout. Your apartment includes Wi-fi, smart TV with Roku, full kitchen with dishwasher, central air, queen sized bed, private patio, and one off-street parking space.
Mid-City Beer Garden, Curbside Burgers, Tap 65, Rocca Pizzeria, Cypress Coast Brewing, and Gov't Taco are just some of the dozens of restaurants and microbreweries located nearby on the stretch of Government Street. Calandro's is the best local supermarket, and Whole Foods and Albertson's are also close.
Guest Access:
In addition to your private apartment, you will share the parking lot with other tenants and guests (spots are not assigned). The small apartment building has paid laundry in the small building located in the back of the property behind the building.
The Neighborhood:
The beating heart of Mid City, Government Street has wonderful restaurants and nightlife like Elsie's Plate and Pie, my favorite restaurant. City Park is just a mile away, with huge lakes and kayaking, tennis, golf, jogging and cycling paths, and the LSU campus a short drive away.
Getting Around:
Though most folks drive where they need to go, Mid City is different for Baton Rouge. You're a few blocks from French Truck coffee shop, as well as other restaurants, art galleries, nightlife, and City Park. Parking is easy in our parking lot just in front of the building. Mid City is centrally located in Baton Rouge close to anywhere you need to go.
Other Things to Note:
This is a first floor apartment (no stairs) in a small 14-unit building located in a lovely residential neighborhood. Mid City, Baton Rouge is an exciting and hip neighborhood. City Park is just a mile away, with huge lakes and kayaking, tennis, golf, jogging and cycling paths, and the LSU campus a short drive away.
