Dirty and chaotic.
Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the unit appeared to have not been cleaned at all. Dirty soap and rags still in the shower. Hair on the toilet seat. Floors covered in dirt and sand. Patio furniture and doors visibly covered in mess from previous stay. Dirty pan still in the oven. Blankets felt super dingy. After a trip to WM for cleaning supplies and change to wash bedding ourselves, it was fine. Then our 2 year old opened a drawer on the tv stand/dresser. Did not pull it hard, just opened it. The entire unit is very top heavy with small legs and just fell directly over on top of him. A severe scratch on his back, scratches from drawers down his arms, and a bump on his head. It’s a miracle I was sitting in the floor with him and was able to catch most of the heavy thing, and he wasn’t hurt worse. It needs secured to a wall immediately. I’ve emailed staff, and hopefully it is done so.
Then night time hit. There is a tiki bar directly below the balcony and it was loud until 11-12. Karaoke and partying. Someone got stabbed in our parking lot by a girlfriend. Police and EMS were there for hours with lights and sirens. Fireworks were shot every single night from 10pm-1am for no apparent reason. With kids and a disabled veteran husband with PTSD, it was very chaotic. None of this went on with our stay on the north end of MB.
All in all, the unit was “fine” for the price but we will not be returning to a dirty and chaotic condo.
