Me and my girlfriend stayed in Bluewater Resort 202 and had an amazing time. Communication was really fast and easy. Elliot Beach Rentals was super understanding of any inconvenience. The place was cleanly and we enjoyed the view and the proximity of local attractions. Would definitely recommend this condo!

Overall nice

The condo accommodated our needs for our extended weekend stay. There was nothing exceptionally flashy about the condo, but it was mostly tidy and comfortable!

Great place, accurate listing, amazing time

The description and pictures were accurate. Even more amenities that weren’t listed like karaoke on Friday nights, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, sauna, and small arcade. Needs a deep cleaning like under couches, dressers, beds, and mirrors weren’t wiped down but not a big deal( at least not to us). Met great ppl at resort pool side tiki bar. Beach easily accessible and not a far walk to ocean. Surf and rip tide while there were pretty bad so please heed caution with the little ones. Boardwalk, shopping, Walmart close by.

Dirty and chaotic.

Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the unit appeared to have not been cleaned at all. Dirty soap and rags still in the shower. Hair on the toilet seat. Floors covered in dirt and sand. Patio furniture and doors visibly covered in mess from previous stay. Dirty pan still in the oven. Blankets felt super dingy. After a trip to WM for cleaning supplies and change to wash bedding ourselves, it was fine. Then our 2 year old opened a drawer on the tv stand/dresser. Did not pull it hard, just opened it. The entire unit is very top heavy with small legs and just fell directly over on top of him. A severe scratch on his back, scratches from drawers down his arms, and a bump on his head. It’s a miracle I was sitting in the floor with him and was able to catch most of the heavy thing, and he wasn’t hurt worse. It needs secured to a wall immediately. I’ve emailed staff, and hopefully it is done so. Then night time hit. There is a tiki bar directly below the balcony and it was loud until 11-12. Karaoke and partying. Someone got stabbed in our parking lot by a girlfriend. Police and EMS were there for hours with lights and sirens. Fireworks were shot every single night from 10pm-1am for no apparent reason. With kids and a disabled veteran husband with PTSD, it was very chaotic. None of this went on with our stay on the north end of MB. All in all, the unit was “fine” for the price but we will not be returning to a dirty and chaotic condo.

Regarding the nighttime disturbances and surrounding activity, we regret that this impacted your stay so negatively. While we don’t have control over public spaces or nearby establishments, we understand how disruptive that environment can be, especially for families and guests with sensitivities or trauma. We will continue to inform guests when specific units may be located near nightlife or busy areas so expectations are clearer ahead of time. We appreciate you bringing all of this to our attention and truly regret that your experience did not reflect the quality or comfort we aim to provide.
