Welcome to our cozy two-story downtown home in the heart of historic St. John's! Nestled in the vibrant core, it's within walking distance to supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, Bannerman Park, boutiques, and The Rooms museum. We have two spacious bedrooms with separate full bathrooms, plus a convertible dining room/bedroom with a half bathroom downstairs.

Awesome place to stay!

We loved our stay here! Martin was amazing to work with - so accommodating and answered any questions quickly. The house is gorgeous and so comfortable- a great base to come back to after a day of sight seeing! Would highly recommend!

What a charming and spacious home in St John's, centrally located for easy access. Our host's hospitality was outstanding, very generous both with his time and accommodation. St John's NL 3 night stay

John is an excellent host. The communication with John from the time of booking to the time of check out was exceptional. The house is very clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need while on vacation. Thank you for an amazing stay in St John’s!

A quaint and thoroughly modern home in the heart of my favourite city. Ample reasons to stay there. LOcation, charm, beautiful garden, utmost condiment stocked kitchen to prepare most meals, away from home. Ultra modern bathrooms and exquisite paintings and modern art blended seamlessly and artistically. One of the best I have ever rented and would do so again.

Awesome host and property

We stayed for a week. From the initial email with our host everything was a breeze. I requested an early check in and Martin (our host) accommodated us). The house was very clean and comfy. Parking was in front of the house. We really couldnt ask for a better house and host. was very clean

Amazing stay and experience. Owner contacted me very quickly upon booking request and was very thoughtful and it was a pleasure to work with him. House was beautiful and very clean and he had sheets, pillows, and towels on the futon bed. Location was a 15 min walk to downtown and less than 10 min walk to Sobeys grocers. Many thoughtful touches were added to make it a welcoming and lovely stay. I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for everything!!!!

Absolutely fantastic

Martin began hosting us in the air, we were delayed and he was so kind and helpful. We spent 8 days here. The home is outstanding, beautiful rooms, kitchen with everything you'd need if you're going to cook. The bedrooms had nice beds with soft sheets. We could walk downtown in 15 minutes and about 7 minutes to Tims. Access to the backyard worked great for us. Martin himself was lovely to work with, the 1 question I had was responded to immediately. I would love to return and I would, without hesitation, re-book and recommend this property to my family and friends.

A gem walking distance to downtown St. John’s

We like everything about this home. It’s newly renovated so it’s very clean. The place is spacious especially the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have a nice shower and an additional tub in the guest bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans. We like the host too. He is most responsive and prompt too. He left a dozen eggs and loaf of bread for us to use. Our only issues are minor like the lack of facial tissues and the lighting in the living areas are not bright enough. Overall we would stay here if we were to visit St. John’s again.

Beautiful, well appointed home with tons of personal touches

This is by far, one of the loveliest, beautifully furnished and decorated, and well-appointed VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve stayed in many)! Attention to detail is everywhere from a kitchen that is just like home, to the decor, and the lovely back deck. The only drawback is the area. The posted “recommended places to go” in the kitchen included a corner store that is very close by. When we visited it, we were taken aback by the fact that it can only be accessed if the clerk buzzes you in. We asked about the heightened security and she told us it was necessary due to it being an area with a high drug use problem. We had noticed some signs of “sketchiness” as we walked to the downtown area and this confirmed it. We took a more circuitous route into downtown after that…but only in the day. After dark, we cabbed it due to safety concerns. Not the owner’s fault, and nothing he can do about it….just a heads up that walking to and from the house at night would not be wise.

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. Unfortunately, I will agree that in our cities we are seeing more and more issues regarding homelessness and drug use, and St. John’s is no different. All I am able to do is offer compassion to those in need. Regarding the corner store it is my experience that a lot of corner store owners in St John’s and other cities prefer having a buzzer entrance for their store. Also taking a taxi at night when in unfamiliar settings is probably a good practice no matter where you are. Thank you once again, hoping you were able to enjoy our beautiful city and all the great things it has to offer.
