The house was very spacious, clean and very quiet and relaxing. The paddle boat was fun and getting in and out of kayaks at the dock was very easy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dinnerware and cookware that we were able to make all meals in the kitchen. The master bath could use a bit of tlc, but the owners were great working with us. Check in was a breeze. Looking forward to next summer.

The only issues were the fruit flies in the bathroom and bedroom (primary). Also the subflooring in the primary bathroom is sinking around the commode. Otherwise our stay was great.

Great location

So close to the lake and comedy museums. Everyone in this little community area along the inlet was so friendly. The space was perfect for our group. Whole the inside was quite comfy we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space.

Although the house was relatively clean, it was infested with fruit flies and had lots of carpenter ants as well. I have stayed at lakefront houses before and have never encountered anything like this. The house was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, supplies, etc, however the bugs were definitely an issue for me. There were fruit fly traps all over the house as well as a can of Raid in every room which was unsettling for me. I would not stay at this property again.

Because the waterfront home is surrounded by mature trees, we have an exterminator routinely service the property each month between guest stays. Fruit flies were previously identified in the master bathroom and treated, with traps left as a precaution. We take concerns about pest activity seriously and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Indoor/Outdoor living--can't wait to visit again!

The large house was immaculate with plenty of room to spread out. Check-in was a breeze. Cute little welcome center by the door with popcorn, fruit snacks and water bottles. Comfy beds (even sofa beds!) Easy Wi-Fi access. Plenty of parking. Nice quiet neighborhood to walk around in. Plenty of seating indoors for games or eating, outdoors for eating or enjoying a fire. Sun and shade. Linens and towels included is a plus. Nice laundry area. Kids especially loved using the canoe and paddle boat on the Inlet. Beaches and restaurants nearby. The property manager was kind and accommodating--I asked her for one thing and it was delivered right away. Thanx for a lovely time!

The Cottage was Perfect and looked exactly as pictured! The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, and the house was clean! The Bathrooms were great and the AC and fans were very helpful during the hot week that we visited. The kitchen appliances & outdoor grills all worked well. Parking was spacious and we property felt pretty private even though we had neighbors next door. We even caught some little fish in the inlet to the lake. The only suggestion I have for the owners is to move the location of the bug Zapper away from the front door. It actually attracted the bugs closer to the front door and makes a mess of dead bugs on the front deck. Being next to the water meant having lots of bugs, so bring your bug spray.
