This was the third time we have stayed at Rhapsody - it's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. You never get tired of the view. It's very convenient to Leura's shops and restaurants. We'll definitely come back again.

2 night stay in Aug. Booked 3 mths prior to stay, & called agent 3 days bef arrival to conf all was in order - particularly the HEATING & was told that "..it had issues last wk but now it's under control." We arrived as planned only to find the central heating was kaput! Stone dead. We called the agent & were told".. we're waiting on a part from Brivis so no, it's not working, sorry." What?? They sent 2 x plug in heaters to our door to add to the other 2 in the house & told us to use the open fire. The lounge had 1 bag of wood & the agent said there was extra under the back porch & more also could be bought at the local servo. Really? Not even a voucher / discount for the firewood since the central heating wasn't working?? The lack of heat had a real dampening effect on our pricey weekend. It also put a focus on OTHER negative issues as well: *The SMS from agent had the wrong code for the lock box so we couldn't get in! *DVD player didn't work - a shame as the house has a library of DVDs. * We looked all around the property for the extra firewood but there wasn't any. So we had to buy more. The high $$ demanded for any stay is only justified if it delivers WHAT it promises - not just the view. Agents are PAID to do things on behalf of landlords.EG checking a property over BEFORE guests arr to ensure that ALL is OK. Not just simply collect rent! Thank goodness the spectacular view requires no management, because Blue Mtns Escapes needs to improve its pathetic act. Abyssmal.

Perfect location

Blue Mountains Rhapsody is set with amazing views across the Megalong Valley. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Spacious rooms with an ideal living space and kitchen. Loved our stay there.
