This spacious and bright house is perched high amongst the Tasmanian blue gums – it feels peacefully remote, but is just a 20 minute drive from the vibrant Hobart city centre and less than 5 minutes from MONA museum.
This stunning, private home boasts 4 spacious double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, 2 bathrooms, an open plan living and dining room, and an expansive, well equipped kitchen. The large and private garden has views of the surrounding bush, as well as a wraparound deck with several seating areas, a BBQ, a sunshade, and a gas heater, with Mount Wellington and River Derwent serving as the backdrop.
There are 2 floors; you will find the king bedroom and a bathroom on the bottom floor, and the rest of the house is on the top floor, which is where the front door opens out onto. There is also an external door to access the bottom floor. Please note, the garage on the bottom floor is locked off and not for guest use.
This home is designed with convenience and comfort in mind, including remote controls for the bedrooms lights and a central vacuuming system. More creature comforts in this tastefully furnished home include free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, free on-site parking, a well-equipped kitchen, designated office space, and laundry facilities.
The home is located in a tranquil area of the suburb Rosetta, surrounded by plenty of bush atop a hill. In contrast, the vibrant MONA museum is just a 5-minute drive away. The surrounding bush attracts the endemic wildlife - it's not unusual to see a family of pademelons grazing on the lawn! It also attracts a plethora of bird life.
