Our road leads to Chemainus Provincial Park pools, where you can enjoy a cool dip on a warm day.
Step out the front door for a walk in the woods or a 12 mins drive to shopping, restaurants, cafés & Duncan's town hub of activities. A vehicle is a must. Taxi service available but, may be a bit of a wait.
The property has fenced pasture surrounded by forest. Enjoy the view from your window, seated on the front porch deck chairs or back patio deck furniture. Or...walk out your front door and take a leisurely hike through the woods.
The two bedrooms have all you need to relax and have a good night's rest. No need to crowd yourself - there's plenty of space in the boot room to store your luggage while you enjoy the space. The top floor bedroom has a private seating area if you feel like some quiet time, while others are watching TV or playing a board game downstairs.
On cooler nights relax in the living room with the warmth of the fireplace, while watching your favourite show on Netflix or Amazon Prime.
The kitchen comes with dishes, pots and pan and some of what you may need to cook a delicious meal.
Morning coffee anyone? Coffee maker or bodum available with ground coffee for your enjoyment. Tea bags available for those who love their cup of tea. Sugar and cream supplied.
On those clear nights stars can be seen in abundance. August's meteor shower is not to be missed.
It doesn't take long to drive into town and enjoy all that Duncan has to offer - from cafés, restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Saturday's farm market goes all year except for a few Saturdays during the Winter. Local farmers and artisans bring their fresh produce and amazing crafted products to sell to us weekly and musician take to the stage at the square to entertain from 10-2.
Summer brings musicians from all over the country to our bustling town for the "39 days of July" presented by the Duncan Cowichan Festival Society.
"Every day from the end of June to the 1st week of August from noon onwards. All of these scheduled musical events are designed to bring community together to celebrate our diverse local / Canadian and international music scenes."
