Your own private oasis and fully air-conditioned two story tropical villa, La Casa Tropical.
Relax and cool off during the day in our beautiful, shady outdoor entertainment area by the resort-style pool and watch the palm trees sway in the cool breeze. Cook up a storm in our fully equipped kitchen or outdoor BBQ. Then kick back, enjoy a drink, and bask in the final glow of the afternoon sun as you watch one of Darwin's iconic sunsets and eat under the stars or by the fire!

The space
- Expect an authentic tropical elevated home environment that provides everything you need for a fabulous and comfy stay.
- Secluded private resort-style pool, outdoor shower, entertainment area with BBQ and fire pit.
- Beautiful tropical garden with plenty of space for kids to run around.
- The ground floor contains a spacious open plan lounge and dining with full kitchen.
- Laundry and one bathroom located on ground floor.
- Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, another bathroom and a laptop friendly workspace.
- Sleeps up to 10 comfortably.
- Fully air-conditioned throughout both levels.
- There are two staircases outside providing access to the top floor as well as an internal spiral staircase. This is not a wheelchair accessible property.
- Plenty of secure parking space for boat or caravan.
- Free WiFi.

Other things to note
We are located 15 minutes from the CBD of Darwin City. It is advisable that you have a car, but not essential as there are Ebikes and Uber available. The location is fantastic and many people prefer it to the CBD.

For insurance purposes, pool, home and amenity use is for paying guests only.

Aircons are professionally cleaned annually.

Mattresses have protective covers.
On rare occasions you might be lucky to see a harmless python or our resident large lizard (Archibald) that lives in the roof.

Possums and native rats run amok on our roof and fence and provide entertainment.
While we change the roach baits 4x year and have the place professionally sprayed, an occasional cockroach might still sometimes wander in.

No pest control can get rid of sandflies/mozzies/midges, but we encourage you to use the supplied Aerogard and citronella torches.
