Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
We didn't have a very good time on our annual friends' trip to Lake Superior this year, but that was entirely due to the weather (99 degrees in Bayfield on the 14th!) and the smoke from the wildfires in Minnesota and Ontario. The condo was perfect and even better than described. The little third story loft with its Jacuzzi, half bath, comfy chair and fireplace (!) was a surprise to me. The beds were all very comfortable, as was the furniture in the living room. The screened-in front porch is great and we actually did get to use it the first couple of mornings we were there. Same for the deck outside the master bedroom, though no screens there. The AC worked very well, and given the temps and the smoke, that was extremely important. Wireless internet worked well. Although the condo description said that there would be "starter supplies" of things like toilet paper, paper towels, etc., there were in fact ample supplies for four people for a week.The location is great and in spite of the heat, we (4 friends in 70s & 80s) were able to walk to the ferry, the museum (don't miss it!) and the three restaurants we used (Grandpa Tony's, The Beach Club and the Pub and Inn at the marina -- all very satisfactory.) The building was also notably quiet, a very important factor for me.We've spent summer vacations in the area several times in the past and have always enjoyed our time there. I'd certainly go to this condo again and would just hope for better weather and no smoke!
