Pao de Azucar is your ultimate surfer's retreat in Rincon! This two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa offers more than just a home; it's a lifestyle.
Nestled in this wonderful surfer's town, the property boasts breathtaking views and a tranquil environment, providing the perfect balance between adventure and serenity. Live the surf culture every day with easy access to renowned beaches, while enjoying the comfort and charm of this inviting villa. If you are looking to relax, experience breathtaking sunsets and panoramic views, enjoy quiet surroundings, and still have all the fun and action RincĂłn has to offer, then this is the place for you!
The villa is a short drive away from secluded beaches where you can experience calm waters in the Summer and world-class surfing during the Winter season. One of our guests' favorites is Sandy Beach, just a 2-minute drive. Come stay at Pao de Azucar and find your zen! Once you get off the main road, you will encounter narrow countryside roads for approximately 3-5 minutes until you get to the property.
IMPORTANT: This property offers a power generator in case of an interruption in electrical service.
LIVING AREA
You will love the way the living area seamlessly integrates with the kitchen and beautiful terrace. There is a 4-person eclectic round dining table, comfortable sofa and armchair, TV, and AC. The room is furnished with serene colors and comfort in mind.
The living room opens to the grand balcony, here is where guests will enjoy the expansive and beautiful views Rincon has to offer. The balcony has 4 chairs to enjoy a relaxing time soaking in the view..
Pao de Azucar has a laundry room with a washer & dryer, perfect for an extended stay.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The master suite has a king-size bed, 2 personal nightstands, a walk-in closet, a ceiling fan, AC, and an en-suite private bathroom.
The second bedroom has a bunk bed with full and twin-size beds. Features include an AC and a sliding door closet.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Pao de Azucar's kitchen is conveniently located in the living area. It offers a full refrigerator, toaster, microwave oven, stove, blender, and basically everything you need for an extended stay. It has an additional 4-person seating in its counter area.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
Pao de Azucar includes two (2) unassigned parking spots.
Renting a car is a must when staying in RincĂłn. Ubers are not readily available in the area. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.
LOCATION
There are many things to do in RincĂłn, Puerto Rico. This part of the island is best known as "The town of beautiful sunsets." Staying at RincĂłn you will enjoy a laid-back atmosphere, delicious restaurants, and great surfing beaches.
Here are some of our favorite things to do:
Explore the large selection of local restaurants. Some of our favorites include The English Rose, La Cambija, Carta Buena, Kaplash, El Tamboo Beside the Point, The Beach House, and La Copa Llena. Check out a new restaurant called La Serina, a great Tiki bar and sushi bar located downtown.
Relax at your personal grand terrace. The apartment includes beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner at La Copa Llena.
Visit the local beaches like Steps, Maria's Beach, Sandy Beach, Domes Beach, and Corcega.
Take a picture of the beautiful "El Faro Lighthouse" at Punta Higuero.
Watch an afternoon sunset at Sandy Beach or MarĂas Beach and stop for a drink at the Calypso Bar which is right by the beach. or The Beach House.
Take a paddle-board tour with the folks at Rincon Paddle Boards. Guests can rent surfing boards at The Beach House.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guestâs responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 5 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If youâd like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and weâll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and weâll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
