THE SPACE: Inside you will find four generous bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, sparkling bathrooms, and a spacious living area with access to an inviting outdoor deck. This two-story home has two bedrooms with queen beds on the second floor, a master with a queen bed on the first floor, and a fourth bedroom in the basement which has a twin/full bunk bed. Bathrooms are located on the first floor near the master and on the second floor. The first floor consists of the dining and kitchen area that flows into the living room. IN the basement we provided a huge 65" television along with a Bowflex workout area.

THE AREA: You are in the neighborhood just bordering Corktown and are steps away from Honey Bee market. From the front porch you are looking at the back of the Michigan Central Train Station. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or recommendation requests.

OCCUPANCY: This unit allows 8 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

PARKING: There is free gated parking in the driveway and garage, as well as on the street in front of the house.

GATHERINGS: We know you are coming to Detroit to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict “No Party” policy.

QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 18 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

SECURITY: For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. While there are no recording devices inside the unit, we do have noise monitors called Minut in the property. These monitor decibel levels,have crowd detection and detect cigarette smoke. They do not record anything, but we understand this can make people uncomfortable. Please do not book if this is an issue as we will not turn off this device.

Please note that any house rules violation will incur an additional $150 penalty charge.

Please note that we use a third-party cleaning service for our accommodations. As a result, we do not provide mid-stay cleanings. Thank you for your understanding!

Drug and Substance Policy

At Great Stays, we are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all our guests. To maintain a secure and enjoyable environment, we have established the following policy regarding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco:

1. Illegal Drugs:
Absolutely no illegal drugs are permitted in the unit or on the premises. Any evidence of illegal drug use or possession will be reported to the Online Travel Agency (OTA), the local
police, and may lead to immediate eviction without refund.

2. Legal Substances in Michigan:
In the state of Michigan, alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco are legal substances. However, their use on our property is subject to the following conditions:
* Alcohol: Guests may consume alcohol within the unit or on the premises, provided it is done responsibly and without disturbing other guests.
* Marijuana: Smoking or vaping marijuana is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guests may only use marijuana in designated smoking areas on the property.
* Tobacco: Smoking or vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Cigarettes may only be smoked in designated smoking areas on the property.

3. Non-Compliance:
Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate action, which may include eviction, reporting to the OTA, and notification to local authorities.
