The property was large and was comfortable and quiet. Nice patio space! We were there four nights, busy with a graduation and family. This location was perfect and there was way access to the metro, groceries and small cafes. The hosts were very gracious.

Very nice apartment in a great location, 1/2 mile walk to the heart of Cleveland Park with shops, restaurants, and the Metro, and 1/2 mile in the other direction gets you to another commercial area on Wisconsin Ave with groceries, restaurants etc. Apartment was clean and comfortable, check-in was very easy. Big thunderstorm meant we had to cook in one night, and the kitchen had all the basic equipment I needed. Only hiccup was lack of clarity on parking: Street parking is free and easy to find nearby, but during weekdays it is 2 hour parking from 7am-8pm, so if you are planning on taking the subway into town you'll need a different solution. The host was very responsive when I asked about this and had a private spot available for a very reasonable rate (25/day), so not a big deal.

Great location, clean and cozy

We had a great time here. It was nice to be in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and the rest of the city. The home was clean, cozy and everything was easy to use.

Cozy space in the heart of the Cleveland Park neighborhood. Very safe to walk around and park safely on the street very close the the property. Very close to decent dining options on both Connecticut and Wisconson Avenues as well as small markets on Conecticutt Ave. Clevelan Park Subway is only abut 3 blocks. The space is secure and has all the amenities needed for a lovely stay. The hosts were attentative and friendly. This was a great spot to visit our daughter at AU.

Our family does different baseball stadiums every year, we stayed here because hotels in DC and around are EXPENSIVE. we also loved having a washer and dryer. The owner was quick with responses when we had issues. The AC or heat is controled by device next to window by frontdoor.The few things with this property was like previous people mentioned, you are in a basement, so you hear kids running around and occasionally crying. But, its not bad and we were up by then anyway. We knew this before we booked.Other then that it was a good stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the hosts were very attentive and worked to make our stay confortable. We do have a couple of suggestions: We couldn't control the temperature, and were cold at night. Extra throws would be helpful on the couch, or a space heater. The back bedroom mattress could be upgraded, and there are no side tables or auxiliary lighting next to beds. The LED overhead lights were confusing to dim, and need to be a warmer color.

Just okay, good location

This is a renovated space, nice but not that comfortable.The living area is exposed to outside even though it sits lower. Need blinds installed. Owner was nice to drop off drapes when he thought we meant the bedroom. Clean but not well cleaned, stove was wiped but I would need to have cleaned it if I wanted to use it. Fridge also needed a good cleaning.Minimal bath amenities, one used bar of soap between 2 bathrooms, liquid soap was almost gone. Towels okay, not enough.Can hear upstairs footsteps and voices. Location good and nice to have parking but confusing to get in, no instructions.Cold temp - told controlled per smart TV but we had difficulty with it - called number given but no answer and mu husband went upstairs and guy handled it quickly.

It is important to relate the whole truth about our interaction with Maria. The whole misunderstanding started when she wanted free private parking, and we are very surprised that she did not mention it at all in her review, not even once. In fact, we offered the option of free street parking and paid private parking. She opted for the private parking but was unwilling to pay, and she along with her family started raising issues. For example, although we have existing curtains, her son asked for additional ones, which we immediately provided. Furthermore, we had smart thermostat with icon displayed on the TV screen and offered to show them how to use it, but her son declined the offer, claiming he can figure it out himself. But later to our surprise, her husband asked for help to adjust the temperature, which we helped him adjust immediately with no delay. Subsequently we even bought dedicated device which makes tempture adjustment even super real easier. In the end, she left without paying for the private parking that she used during her entire stay with satisfaction and we let it go. Despite all this, including getting free private parking on the premises at the heart of Washington DC, she opted for a partial and inaccurate assessment or review. We leave it on her conscience.
