They show you a picture of the front door, but that's not where you're staying. (Again, I apologize to the people who live in the front - I swear I was not trying to break into your apartment.) You have to walk across 30' of ice with all your stuff to a door on the side of the house that you have the code for. Once you're in, you have call the owner for 30 minutes to get the code to the second door. Great, you're in. The 1st floor furniture looks like someone went dumpster diving. It's a great open space for a bunch of kids to have a party, which is not allowed. The front door light switch panel is not covered - exposed wires! How fun! When you go up the stairs, BE SURE TO DUCK. There is less than 5' clearance up the stairs, which technically is a violation of VT fire code. It's been a few weeks and I still duck when going up the stairs in my own home because I hit my head a couple of times and it freakin' hurt. Sleeps 8 - in one room (no smoke detectors anywhere upstairs by the way). The brand new floor moves under your feet as you step on it. And if you put something round on the floor in the bedroom by the window it will quickly roll to the other side of the room. If you've been drinking it's fine, but if you haven't it feels like you have. Then there's the noise. Your bed is 30' from the highway and when there are no cars, there's the hum of the power plant behind the property to keep you grounded. Parking was fantastic.
