Downstairs are 2 different areas where everyone can do their own thing.

The front of the house faces the village, while the back is very secluded. There is a pond an oasis for wild birds.

Absolutely the perfect location if you are interested in the author Louise Penny and her Three Pines Cafe. Even if not , it is such a quaint village with great restaurants and a huge lake. In addition the people are so warm and friendly. :-)

Nice stay in Knowlton

Very charming property in a convenient location walkable to downtown Knowlton shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the home-like feel of the property. The owner was very easy to work with and provided all the information we needed for an excellent stay.

Perfect Location!

Girls trip to Knowlton (Three Pines) did not disappoint! Our home away from home was convenient and perfect for us! Beautiful garden with a pond too!

Michael’s home was perfect for our family of four adults, two children, and one dog. The upstairs includes two comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom, and an additional landing area with a washer and dryer as well as a futon bed. Although the kitchen is compact, it is very well equipped. The outdoor grill worked perfectly, and we made good use of it throughout our stay. Michael provided beach towels for trips to Douglass Beach. The peaceful backyard overlooks a pond frequented by ducks and geese, making it a lovely place to relax. We also rented the downstairs studio, which provided the perfect private retreat for my husband and me.Michael was an excellent host—always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The home was ideally suited to our group’s needs, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, within walking distance of several good restaurants, shops, and a convenient neighborhood grocery store. There is also a dog park just around the corner.We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Highly recommend:Great location, helpful host, loved relaxing on back deck overlooking pond and yard

Comfortable, clean, and a great location for exploring this area of the Eastern Townships. We loved the quiet village setting with restaurants, delicious coffee and small shops within easy walking distance, there’s a sweet walking path to Lac Brome. It’s an easy drive to Sutton’s park and bicycling through the tree tops. Michael was a great host with great suggestions and stories.

The heart of Knowlton

From the beginning, Michael was a great host -- always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. He was very welcoming, and his house was as advertised -- perfectly suited to my husband and I and our three grown kids. It is also right in the heart of the town and pretty much everything is walkable (except the local grocery store, which is about a five minute drive, or a long walk). HIghly recommend!

Very eclectic home - Louise Penny lives in the village!

The home is located right in the center of the sleepy village of Knowlton. Truly a beautiful Victorian village with loads of charm. It was nice to walk to the cafe, book store, which is a beautiful classic independent store. It's where Louise Penny the author launches all her books. I'm a huge fan. The house has lots of space, really gorgeous antique wooden floors. The back yard is an Oasis of wildlife and beauty. Very enjoyable stay. Thanks!
