The Space:
Forest Farm Tiny House sits in the rural area of Whakamarama, in the Bay of Plenty Region of New Zealand's North Island. Located beside the barn with breathtaking views over rolling pastures and forests as far as Mount Maunganui and the open ocean in the distance. Within a short drive are Tauranga beaches and the nearby Waipapa River, which runs through Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park.

Mount Maunganui ocean beach is a short drive away, and just an hour away is Hamilton City and the attractions of the Waikato region. Nearby Minden Lookout, Te Puna Quarry Park, and Puketoki Reserve. A comfortable farm stay at an approx size of 155 sq ft with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities a flush toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to inform you that this accommodation is a farm stay with farm animals on site which sometimes creates noise. If you're not an early riser, we recommend bringing earplugs.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the tiny house and can explore the farm with their hosts' permission. However, guests will not be allowed to enter paddocks where the cows are grazing or enter farm buildings.

- Puketoki Reserve is an old reserve in Western Bay of Plenty with a picnic area, shallow water for cooling off, and both short and long trails for vacationers to enjoy.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside, except in designated areas
- Spark has good signal reception the rest has weak signal
- Farm experience is subject to the host's availabilty and by prior notice
- Please expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

Farm guidelines

- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- Keep a safe distance from farm animals as they are easily agitated
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

PLEASE READ: We advise guests with young children keep an eyes on them at all times as there are water troughs and electric fencing on the farmlet .

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our flush toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
