Das Hotel liegt am Playa Hermosa (wunderschöner Strand), am nördlichen Ende von Santa Teresa. Schöne Sonderanfertigung, im Jahr 2009, 1 Schlafzimmer, Bad, voll ausgestattete Küche. Artisan kreierte Fenster und Bambusdecken! Das Hotel liegt nur 750 Fuß zum schönsten Strand und Surfen, nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß. Unglaubliches Zusammenleben mit Surfen, Yoga und erstklassigem Essen an diesem coolen Ort am nördlichen Ende von Santa Teresa-Malpais. Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Spaß mit unserem Special Spot! Wir haben auch Vollmond # 674745 (2 Bett, 2 Ba) auf dem Grundstück für eine größere Gruppe oder mieten beide.
Half Moon ist geräumig, mit all seinen Fenstern offen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt, der sich am nördlichen Ende von Santa Teresa am Zugang zum Strand Playa Hermosa befindet. Es wurde 2009 nach Maß mit vielen Schränken und Türen aus Bambus und nach Maß gebaut. Jetzt (Januar 2017) sind wir nicht so oft dort, wie wir möchten, und werden unsere Plätze mit Ihnen teilen ! Half Moon ist perfekt für 3 Erwachsene oder 2 Erwachsene und ein kleines Kind. Das geräumige, klimatisierte Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett verfügt über ein eigenes Bad im Garten. Gemütlich eingerichtet, voll klimatisiert, die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet - Kühlschrank, Herd / Ofen usw. und ein Safe für Ihre Wertsachen. Schöner gespaltener Bambus zeichnet jede Decke im Haus. Keine Alarme notwendig! Draußen gibt es 2 Terrassen, auf denen man Papageien, Kolibris, Leguane usw. beobachten kann. Keine Alarme notwendig! Die Brüllaffen besuchen, manchmal zweimal am Tag! Sie tummeln sich auf den Baumwipfeln und grasen auf Blättern und Blüten der Bäume auf dem Grundstück. Der schöne Strand ist etwa 700 Fuß entfernt und nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß ohne Hügel und ohne Straßen zu überqueren. Sie können den Service eines Küchenchefs in Anspruch nehmen, sich mit einer Massage im Spa Bambu verwöhnen lassen, Yoga oder Pilates in Pranamar oder Flor Blanca lernen, Surfkurse arrangieren, auf einem nahe gelegenen Öko-Bauernhof reiten, eine Autofahrt machen und herausfinden, warum wir dieses wunderschöne Gebäude gebaut haben Bereich von Costa Rica! Wir sind ungefähr 5-10 Minuten südlich in der Stadt Santa Teresa. Malpais liegt weitere 5 Minuten südlich von Santa Teresa. Wir sind 5 Minuten nach Manzanillo, das zu unserem Norden ist. Unser Gebiet wurde im Mai 2016 im New York Times Style Magazine - Travel vorgestellt.

An Amazing Stay!

The short walk to the beach was the highlight of our fantastic vacation. There were two very easy ways to grab delicious coffee and breakfast or lunch: across the street at Couleur Cafe or on the way to the beach at Manta Ray. The host was responsive and the property immaculate. An amazing stay!

Great location in Playa Hermosa

We had a great time staying in Denise’s place. Great area..short walk to the beach. Great restaurant right across the street. House had everything we needed. For those wanting a quieter place to stay outside of Santa Teresa this is a great option.

Everything was great and as described. This was my second time staying at the property. I would easily go back. Very helpful host and managers. Great location, removed from the hustle and bustle of the town. Highly recommended.

Relaxing and easy walk to the beach

This is a beautiful home in an excellent location. Comfortable beds, ceiling fans, A/C and a private porch. It’s an easy few minute walk to the beach. We rented surfboards across the street for a reasonable price. The surf break is great. We enjoyed a meal at the cafe across the street, and there’s a mini market a couple blocks away. We highly recommend this vacation home!

Unforgettable first trip to Costa Rica

House was amazing and the property was surrounded by trees and wildlife. Absolutely stunning! A quick walk down to gorgeous Hermosa beach. A delightful cafe across the road and a cute little shop. A quick drive down the road brings you to the village of Santa Theresa for all of your dining and shopping desires! Wonderful people and Kristi and Casey were invaluable to our trip! Perfect Getaway

I have visited Playa Hermosa for many years. It is a magical place. Denise's property is in the heart of the location. Her property is an ode to this. You will be surrounded by the rich and varied flora and fauna. A calm and beautiful retreat. It is tranquil, clean and well-maintained.The magnificent beach is only a 5 minute walk directly down the road.The nighttime is so beautifully quiet, except for the nightbirds, their song a lovely sound.Across from the property is an excellent cafe with a extensive menu of fresh foods.A shout out to Kristi and Casey, who mange the day to day of Halfmoon and Fullmoon. They are responsive, super friendly and very experienced.We loved our two week stay.

Peaceful, Convenient Beach House

This property is incredible. The location in Hermosa beach is super convenient. Just a few minutes walk to the beach, a surf shop and cafe across the street, grocery a few minutes away and a quick atv/car ride into Santa Teresa. The house is tucked into an incredible amount of nature, well stocked, and the design is very cool. So many windows letting you take in all the surrounding beauty. I had booked Half Moon, but due to a leak in the roof, the owner moved me into the main building on the property Full Moon, which was great and generous. The property managers that live locally were super friendly, helpful, and responsive. This is the perfect rental for anyone who wants a peaceful Costa Rican retreat and a great base of operations for a surf trip.

Perfect House for beach lovers and surfers

Definitely a perfect house for beach lovers and surfers. Half Moon has one bedroom, which was perfect for the two of us (although there's an additional bed if needed) and Full Moon (on the property but separate) is a two bedroom house should you need more room. Playa Hermosa is adjacent to Santa Teresa, and we didn't experience the busyness of Santa Teresa but you are close enough to enjoy the numerous fantastic restaurants, beaches, yoga, and other entertainment. PROS: great offsite but accessible owner, terrific local support team (Kristi and Casey), wonderful cleaning service, washer/dryer, phone, surfboard rental across street, local good eateries (Cafe Couleur, Sito, TP8), fantastic sunsets from beach, use of hammocks (to tie to palm trees on beach) and beach chairs, WiFi and cable TV CONS: no cell phone service (that's WiFi allows WhatsAp and/or SKYPE ), irregular dog barking/howling at night

The Perfect Stay - A VRBO beyond perfection!

Our stay at this enchanting Vrbo was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the incredible location – just a breezy 3-minute stroll to the beach and the main surf spot, across the street from the surf shop to rent boards, and conveniently located next to two cafes that served delicious food. Also at the edge of town for a quiet and peaceful retreat. The building and amenities were nothing short of perfection, seamlessly blending comfort with the essence of a tropical excursion. The outdoor shower was a standout, offering a sublime experience under the tropical sky – a true highlight of our stay! Additionally, there was impeccable communication from our hosts. They left no questions unanswered, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. The WiFi was also excellent, allowing us to stay connected with ease. We do not plan on staying anywhere else when we return. It was truly paradise.

We loved our stay here. The house is close to the beach, and easy for surfing with a board rental shop across the street. The property manager was responsive and helpful throughout our three week stay.

Wonderful time

We stayed at half moon and full moon for 10+ days. The location was great- away from the noise and dust, but a short walk from beautiful Hermosa beach. I grew up on Long Island and spent my summers at the beach. Will's father was in the Navy so his life has always been around water. In Virginia Beach when he was around 13 he started surfing and found his passion. When we are not in Costa Rica we live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Southern Shores. We live on a canal for kayaking and boating and moments from the Atlantic for Will's surfing, close to Duck, Corolla , Nags Head and an hour from Hatteras. We have been in the Property Management and Real Estate business for 25 years here founded 2 fantastic companies Corolla Classic Vacations (subsequently selling it in '08) & Corolla Real Estate. We know the importance of maintaining and upgrading. Our hearts are always in the arena of taking care of people and houses on the beach and providing the best vacations.

We first vacationed in Santa Teresa in 2004 and found a place we kept wanting to return to. In 2006 we purchased property on the Ocean in Manzanillo. Then we purchased this piece in 2007 and after careful consideration and collaborations we built Full Moon and Half Moon. We love the location because we can walk to the this beautiful beach. We chose this area because it still holds a relatively rugged feel with its dirt roads and low level development. People from all over the world live and vacation here. Because the area attracts surfers along with health conscience individuals it is forefront with Yoga Retreats Spas, and emerging trends for your body and soul. You will find it to be a very youthful and entrepreneurial area. Wonderful restaurants or chef services provide the best and freshest foods for ultimate dining. Our area was featured in the New York Times Style Magazine - Travel May 2016.

Half Moon is understated, but I believe it is also beautiful! Those bamboo ceilings are a constant reminder that you are in the tropics. Seeing the monkeys in the trees from your - awesome! We always meet someone new while we are here as everyone goes to the beach to watch the sunset before dinner.
