Farm Stay at the Gateway to the King Valley Wine District

Large beautifully appointed Farm house and gardens, with all the modern conveniences. Set on 8 hectare farm , whilst being 500 m walk to regionally acclaimed Cafe and Pub and the gateway to the King Valley Wine region. Enjoy the best of both worlds.

Set at the gateway of the King Valley Wineries, Brown Brothers, Pizzini , Chrismonts and Dalzottos to name of few. The House whilst set back on acreage is deceivingly right in the middle of town. Only walking distance to a Ineeta Cafe, be greeted by true local hospitality for breakfast or lunch and then head to the Country Pub across the road for dinner. Wonderful Pub meals and cellar door to local Merkel family wine.
Enjoy Wine tastings during the day from a choice of over 10 wineries in the area, or bush walk in the nearby Mount Beauty, Paradise falls or Warby ranges. Close by Milawa also great regional shopping, milawa mustards, Milawa cheese company among others.

We can also arrange pick up from the house by King Valley Winery tour operators. Please contact the host for further details

Our group of 4 couples had a wonderful 4 days staying in the house. The location is perfect for golf lovers and exploring the wineries of the king valley. Our host Alicia left milk eggs bread orange juice and the house is well stocked with anything you might need. A 10 minute walk to the Moyhu pub for a great dinner was an added bonus.

The house is lovely. Very spacious and perfect for a family getaway. Loved gathering some eggs for breakfast from the chook house. Alicia was very helpful with information before and during our stay. Quick response time was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to others and if we were ever in the area again, we would be happy to stay.

The house was even better than we expected. Heaps of room for 2 familes. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The outside area with couches, tv, etc was great in the cooler evenings. Worth every cent.PS. Coffee machine was well used!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The house is amazing with plenty of amenity and room for friends. The kitchen was well stocked and if you don't want to prepare a meal at home the local pub is just down the road. The backyard has a great view over the local farmland. Well done Alicia!

Idyllic country retreat

This was the perfect location for our annual family catch-up. The spacious farmhouse had everything we needed to enjoy shared meals, play games and sip on the local wines around the cosy outdoor fire. We also loved our leisurely walk to the local cafe and pub. Fabulous!

This house was phenomenal! That’s the only word for itWhile initially I was a little hesitant by the price as soon as we arrived we realized it was worth every penny and recommend to everyone! My husband and I stayed here for four nights with our two golden retrievers and loved it so much asked to stay an extra night!Great location we walked to the pub for dinner and cafe for brunch, Alicia the host was so helpful and lovelyGorgeous big kitchen, decor was lovely and big ensuite with several personal touches that just made our trip- milk, bread and orange juice for us, giant jenga in the yard, picking our own fresh eggs from the chickens, watching a magpie family play in the sprinkler, even saw an echidna looking for his dinner, picking herbs and veggies from the garden, our dogs watching the cows in the morning in nearby paddockCouldn’t rate highly enough! We will be back for sure! Thanks Alicia you made our holiday extra special

A great house for entertaining

A wonderful place for celebrating a special 21st birthday. The house was beautiful yet relaxed that accommodated my large family with plenty of space to gather comfortably. The outdoor barn with open fireplace was a great place to hung out of an evening to unwind. A warm thankyou to the lovely host, Alicia who made our stay so memorable!

Fabulous Property

Wonderful two night stay celebrating an anniversary with 9 people. Owner Alicia was very prompt and easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully presented with everything needed for your stay. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room and comfy beds. Welcome provisions of some breakfast food. A fabulous property to have a relaxing time. Hope to visit again one day.

Only wish we had stayed longer, hoping to be back later in the year during warmer weather. Perfectly located near wineries, great service, very clean and spacious living. We all had a wonderful time.

Stunning property

This beautiful house was the perfect setting for our relaxing weekend away. Spacious & comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax and the central kitchen/living area was a great communal area. The lovely garden provided stunning views from every window. Easy access to some great wineries & breweries in the area. The town's pub has a great meal, good coffee at the cafe & the general store has the essentials, all within walking distance.

Beautiful well equipped farm house with great outdoor area. Very friendly and helpful host. The perfect place for a family get together. Close to Moyhu hotel and Ineeta Cafe where we enjoyed meals at both places. Big 80th Birthday family weekend with lovely afternoon celebrating at Chrismont Cellar door restaurant and winery. Travel to and from Moyhu by King Valley tours. Making lots of memories.
