The Space:
McCabe Farm by Tiny Away is situated in the Wheatbelt region, just an hour’s drive from Perth. Our tiny house is set on a family-run regenerative farm set in the woods that promotes a simple, sustainable lifestyle in nature. Explore the best spots for a blooming trip at Boyagin Rock Nature Reserve, Dryandra Woodland, or Yenyenning Lakes. Take a tour of Brookton Museum & Heritage Centre and see old school sites.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the farm sheds and machinery.
ADVISORY:
- Please expect agricultural noise on the property.
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks.
- Please do not enter animal paddocks and do not feed them without the land host's permission.

The Neighborhood:
McCabe Farm by Tiny Away is located in Brookton, in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region. Our tiny house is just an hour's drive from Perth, near Mount Brown, Araluen Botanic Park, York Motor Museum, and other attractions.
Explore local nature for a peaceful picnic at the Yenyenning Lakes. Visit the Boyagin Rock Nature Reserve to see native wheatbelt flora and wildlife like numbats and wallabies.
Learn about the past at the Brookton Museum & Heritage Centre and the historic Old Railway Station, now a tourist information hub. You can relax at Dryandra Woodland for wildlife spotting or tour at Avondale Farm for a glimpse of rural life while staying at our holiday homes.
Getting Around:
By car: All are reachable with 2WD.
By public transport: We recommend guests travel by private vehicle as there are no public transports available directly from our property.
Other Things to Note:
- Free portable water.
- No pets are allowed on the property.
- No smoking allowed on the property.
- Recycling/compost bins for rubbish provided
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Telstra & Optus have good signals; all other signals are weak.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property.
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
