Banksia Terrace is a beautifully appointed getaway located across from the beach. We collected the key after hours from the Agent lock box.Upon arrival we were very impressed with presentation. However, there were a few issues to be addressed. Cleaners need to apply attention to detail, as there were dirty coffee mugs hanging on cup hooks, and the toilet bowl needed a thorough clean. Lounge cushions had an odour of dry sweat and really need to be cleaned and refreshed.Our stay was eight nights/nine days. A larger fridge would be appropriate. The lower shelf on the fridge door was broken and items didn't fit. Eggs broke and items tumbled out when the door was opened. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and spacious, but there isn't a pantry to store groceries, or enough shelving and towel racks in the bathroom. The addition of face washers is required, as liquid body soap is provided in the shower and basin. An additional hand towel would be beneficial too for two people during a long stay. Facial tissues would be appreciated also.Banksia Terrace is beautiful. We loved sitting at the front of the house overlooking the beach. The bougainvillea was in full bloom. Really gorgeous. The local wildlife was wonderful too, including a juvenile red-bellied black snake that slithered from under the laundry door as we sat in the sun.We recommend this lovely location if you're looking for a relaxing beach stay. Local amenities are a 10-minute walk away or a quick drive.
