* Important* The Harbour House is on Wolfe Island - meaning it's accessible by boat or ferry only. We have a dock! So you're welcome to bring your own boat.
Built in 1876, this historical waterfront building has been recently renovated to restore it's original character and charm. The Harbour House is centrally located on the shores of Marysville, the small village on Wolfe Island. Our local grocery store, restaurants, and shops are just steps away from our door. With a view of the harbour, you can sit comfortably and watch the ships glide by, or launch your own boat and enjoy the lake yourself.
The Harbour House is located on the main floor of the historical brick building on Main Street - which once served as a local store and historic bakery.
As you take your first steps in, you will be greeted with high vaulted ceilings, a view of the open entertainment area - kitchen, dining room, and living room. Upon closer look, you'll notice detailed crown molding throughout the apartment, natural patinated brick walls, and large floor to ceiling windows with a view of the harbour. We selected blue hues, industrial fixtures, and a blend of modern and traditional furniture to reflect the shores of Lake Ontario.
Both queen bed bedrooms include closets and large bay windows for ample natural light. One of the bedrooms includes a desk and chair, perfect for working on a laptop.
Each bed has been dressed with white cotton sheets, two different types of pillows - high and low size so you can choose your comfort - and a plush feather duvet, we've made it cozy. We want you to rest well.
The kitchen is fully stocked, meaning you could cook a turkey with roasted potatoes and have everything you need, if you felt so inclined. Sit at the kitchen bar, sip a drink and gaze at the lake through the large bay windows.
With an open concept layout, all guests can be included in the conversation. There is enough seating for four guests at the kitchen island, dining table, and living room. With a Smart TV, board games, and Blutooth speaker, you'll have you need for a rainy day.
If it's sunny, we highly recommend enjoying the outside! Just out the back door, you'll find outdoor dining and seating to enjoy the waterfront view.
You're welcome to use the dock - just note that it is shared by our other guests on the property. You'll find great, fresh water, swimming here! Feel free to bring your own water toys too! We have a boat launch on our property.
