You can bet that staying here with your family or small group is a 'Shore Thing'. This fantastic coastal retreat enjoys ocean views, a huge new deck and hot tub, as well as all new decor and furnishing throughout.



The entire home was fully remodeled and upgraded. Every piece was curated to provide that perfect blend of coastal style and comfort. The main living and dining area is bathed in natural light through the oversized windows. Whether you want to relax to your favorite show or movie inside or rest outside in the hot tub or at the patio table there is something for everyone here.



When it's time to rest and recuperate, there is a main floor bedroom and full bathroom. As you ascend upstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms and the final full bathroom. One of the upper bedrooms is a traditional bedroom with the en-suite bathroom, while the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds making it perfect for kiddos or young adults.



One of the other highlights of the Shore Thing is the location. It sits just across Inlet Ave. where you are barely two blocks away from 5th Street Beach Access. The Kyllos Restaurant is fabulous and barely one block away as well. You are centrally located to countless adventure options such as the Chinoook Winds Casino, Lincoln City Outlets, and so many more.



This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.



PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

Great Location

The location of the house is great! Quick walk to the beach and lots of shops in Lincoln City. It’s also central to so much on the coast. We drive to Tillamook one day and Newport the next. The house itself was good. Plenty of space for our party of 8 (adults and teens). The hot tub was a big hit! The couple of minor issues we had were dealt with fairly quickly, as the management team was really responsive. The only complaint we all had was the beds. They are all encased in plastic coverings. I can see WHY a rental would do this, but we’ve stayed in lots of rental homes and never had one use them. It made for a pretty uncomfortable sleeping experience for everyone.

The house itself was nice, with a decent view and a good location. The layout worked well for our stay, and overall we enjoyed our time there.However, the property fell short in a few important areas. While it appeared clean on the surface, it was not deeply cleaned. There was a noticeable buildup of dust and grime in the window tracks, around and behind the washer and dryer, and in the vents and fan areas, etc. These are not places that appear to have been cleaned for quite some time.Our biggest concern was the hot tub. One of the main reasons we booked this property was because it advertised a hot tub. Upon arrival, we noticed the chlorine floater was completely empty and there were no replacement tablets available. We contacted property management the first evening (Thursday) and continued following up throughout our stay. While they responded and stated the hot tub had recently been serviced, they confirmed there were no chlorine tablets on site and did not send anyone to address the issue.As previous hot tub owners, we know that an empty floater means there is no ongoing sanitization being added to the water. Although they stated the chemical levels were acceptable when last checked, those levels can quickly change with guest use. We were disappointed that the issue was never corrected despite reporting it immediately.Overall, this is a nice property with great potential, but better attention to deep cleaning and hot tub maintenance would go a long way.

We appreciate you bringing your concerns regarding the deep cleaning and hot tub to our attention. Our hot tubs are professionally cleaned and balanced after each guest departure and are regularly drained and refilled as part of our maintenance program. For safety reasons, chemical tablets are not kept on-site. After receiving your concern, we also confirmed with our spa technician that the hot tub had been serviced on the 2nd. According to their report, the chlorine level had been increased and the pH was within the appropriate range at the time of service. Based on the technician's assessment, the hot tub was operating properly and the water chemistry was within acceptable levels. We also appreciate your comments regarding the areas that could benefit from more thorough cleaning and will share them with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for review. Thank you for your valuable feedback, and we're glad you otherwise enjoyed your time at the property.

Great Location - comfortable stay for the family.

We loved the location. The hot tub was amazing and we used it a lot. The house is very updated and clean. Quick walk to many restaurants and beach also tide pools. The only things that are really not a big deal was the sliding door kept catching and was kind of hard to open. The beds were comfortable just had to get use to plastic mattress protectors. Only suggestions would be for hooks to hang towels on and maybe a different type of mattress protector. The house really is nice with all the amenities you could want. Very nicely decorated. Would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful week in this home! Everything was clean and very welcoming. Perfect location close to the beach. Would definitely recommend this home to a friend. Keep in mind there are a lot of steps to get into the home but we considered it a bonus. Easy to get in your daily steps!!! The balcony offered a great view to the ocean with a hot tub! And the walk to the beach was just a few short blocks.

Wonderful place

My family enjoyed our stay, the house had all the basics & we loved the big soft blankets provided for the couch & bedrooms. Things to note: no dishwasher & LOTS of stairs (3 flights) to get up to the house. I know a lot of the places in this area have stairs, it was just a bit of a challenge for a family member with hip issues. Just an FYI.

Beautiful home near our favorite D River beach!

We’ve been visiting the Shearwater Hotel for years because of the location (near the D River) and the hotel accepted pets…but no longer!! We will absolutely rebook this gorgeous expansive home steps away from the beach access with ample parking and a fabulous deck, complete with a hot tub! This home is well maintained and appointed with everything needed to have a great stay, including a complimentary bottle of wine! I hate leaving this review knowing I’ll be tipping everyone off, but it’s truly a gem and the kids did nothing but rave about it the whole weekend. High praise from tweens and teens!! They even have a Harry Potter “room under the stairs” which the kids got a kick out of. If I could make any suggestion it would be to hang a sign or decor in there (Harry’s room) or something cause both kids wanted their pictures taken in it! Honestly can’t say enough. The description was accurate and showed everything as it comes. Great job!! We loved it!

Lincoln city review

Location and property were very nice, would recommend them again. However, one of the reasons for renting this property was the hot tub. When we got there is was set at 104 but only 88 degrees, very cold. I emailed/texted customer service, they said they would fix on their end. Next morning checked again still 88 and cold. Email again they said they did something on their end and it was fixed. But it wasn’t. Later that afternoon when I emailed again they then stated it was the motherboard and they knew the whole time the hot tub was not working., so they were I fact lying to me the whole time with our conversation back and forth. I should have been notified before checking in with the options of either a different location or the option to cancel. Had I at least known then I could have a decision. I think some sort of refund should be done. I was refunded 70 for the hot tub cleaning that you did not have to do. But this was a big deal and one of the main dying choose this location.

Like many home amenities, especially in coastal or variable climates, hot tubs can occasionally be temperamental. They contain sensitive systems that sometimes require part replacements or servicing—unfortunately, this often means coordinating with specific vendors, ordering parts, and waiting for availability, which can lead to delays that are out of our immediate control. That said, we take all maintenance issues seriously and do our best to resolve them as quickly as possible while prioritizing guest comfort and safety.
