Our family had a wonderful stay at the Barn Owl Inn! The kids really enjoyed playing ping pong and foosball. It was very clean and had everything we needed! The view from the deck was beautiful and peaceful. We also had some great hikes at the Shaw Nature Reserve and the Rockwoods reservation. Would definitely recommend it to other people who love being around nature and are looking for a tranquil place to stay!

This Vrbo was well stocked. The host left us some treats and a nice bottle of wine. Everything was just as the pictures reflected. Lovely setting and a beautiful deck outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet cabin with plenty of room

We absolutely loved our stay here. Table tennis, foosball and lounging downstairs, plenty of deckspace and room for hanging out. A huge island for food prep and eating. Plenty of dishes, comfy beds, outdoor fire pit. This old revovated barn was very tastefully done, and communication with the host was top notch.

Rustic yet modern cabin in the woods

Very large house with lots of room. All the modern conveniences you would want however the weather affected the signal for the TV so it was very unreliable. Nice beds but guest room on main floor only had pillow shams to sleep on with no extra pillows in the closets. No one wants their head to rest on a scratchy sham. If you like an isolated cabin on winding roads with beautiful trees everywhere this is the rental for you.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the Barn Owl Inn cabin. Found it to be exactly as depicted in the listing. The cabin was better stocked than most rentals, with respect to having everything needed for preparing meals. Good wireless service available. Great deck outside. Nice game room in the basement. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One word of caution - each of the light switches in the two first floor bedrooms turn the lights on in the opposite bedroom too. Found that out on night one after our grandson went down for the night and we hit the switch in our room, only to turn the light on in his and his parent's room too. We never did figure that one out and we did it numerous times throughout the weekend. Kathy was a great host. She provided a welcome note and snacks. And she is a very prompt / responsive communicator. Great place to stay. Highly recommend. And if you do stay, be sure to read the notebook on the history of the cabin.
