Historic Air’s cottage was absolutely delightful, perfectly situated to explore the township of Penola. Wonderful attention to historic detail, collections of antiquity and quirky surprises. Jen had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The entertaining area outside was great and the garden well tended. Thank you Jen, we really enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. Penola is a gem of a town and we should have stayed for far longer! The house is absolutely beautiful with so much thought and care. Everyone should stay here!

Comfortable Stay in Penola

Beautiful cottage with everything provided to make our stay comfortable. Short walk to shops and dining. Visitors center in Penola provided helpful information and we were able to visit historical sites within walking distance of the cottage. Beautifully furnished and well equipped place to stay.

The house and garden are absolutely adorable. The house is beautifully decorated and provides an excellent base for visiting the vineyards of Coonawarra and the town of Penola. The garden is delightful and we spent our afternoons and evenings sitting in one of the many seating areas enjoying the flowers and sunshine.

Cozy cottage with a lovely garden and a number of outside areas to partake in a coffee or wine. Decent wine glasses in the cottage a big plus. Clear and regular correspondence from the host.

Ideal for one or two couples. Excellent location for wine and dinning. Try snorking at Ewens Ponds rent gear from store in Allendale

An historic gem.

The cottage is exceptional. Quirky, expertly modernised but with its history well to the fore. We stayed for a few days and enjoyed Penola and surrounds. St Mary's distillery is well worth a visit.
