About the home
“Clifton Breeze” is a delightful light-filled, single-storey, pet friendly (outside only) family home in Cowes just a short drive from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of lively Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
This single-storey home has an open-plan Kitchen / Dining / Living area (with smart TV), with access to both the huge side deck and rear yard (with firepit). There is a second living room off the kitchen, and a third living area in the form of a fully converted garage (with smart TV & internal access). The bedrooms comprise of Bedroom 1 (with WIR) through to the ensuite (with shower & toilet), plus Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 (all with BIR). Lastly, there is the main bathroom (with shower & toilet), a separate toilet, and a fully-appointed laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer).
Outdoor Areas
Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a rear yard (with firepit (wood not provided) and bench seating) and the large side deck (with gas BBQ, ample outdoor furniture & lounges that seat 19), all of which is fully enclosed - perfect for kids & pets (outside only) alike. There is ample car space for three cars or a small boat in front of the garage and along the side fence.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavazza coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle a split system unit in the Family Room that services the home, ceiling fans in all four bedrooms plus the rear lounge area, four standalone fans and four standalone heaters to be used where required. Additionally, there is a firepit outside (wood not provided), and heat lamps in both bathrooms.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, 1 trundle bed and 1 day bed, accommodating up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed and One Single Trundle bed
Bedroom 4: One Double bed and One Single bed
There is also a Double Day Bed in the 3rd Living Room/converted Garage that is suitable for 2 adult or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
