On Georgian Bay, this well-maintained, 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is updated with a 500-square foot addition and floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of Hope Bay. The kitchen is well-stocked with herbs, spices, the basics like flour, sugar, tea, coffee, and the fridge has a full set of condiments and essentials like butter and maple syrup. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, and a small beach in front of the cottage is partially shaded.

At the water is a dock, firepit, chaises lounges, comfortable chairs, and a water view deck for dining. Spring-summer-fall hiking on the Bruce Trail is just a few minutes walk away, and biking is excellent on Bruce Road 9 and surrounding rural roads. The cottage is well-insulted, with two heat sources a temperature controlled gas stove and a wood stove that keep the cottage warm and comfortable in the coldest weather.

I love buying food directly from local farmers' farm gate sales and area farmers market that are open from May to Thanksgiving each year.
