Property Needs Attention - Upper Level too hot to use in summer
On arrival in July 2025 property inside looked alright, exterior and interior maintenance has been neglected. To the credit of the management company(property is for sale) they provided a small credit based on our challenged experience. - Exterior needs washing and weed pulling and removal of goose poop on porch. Grill was not used as filthy in addition to windows not being washed in years. - Biggest challenge inside as the upper level does not get a/c and the king bed was unusable. Window sills were filled with dead and some live bees. - septic smell when using showers, dishwasher or toilet - nauseating during our stay…septic issue? - No top sheet on beds, 4 bath towels provided despite having more guest and no wash cloths- Blown fuse made kitchen outlets unusable- No info in unit with any contact details-Hairdryer not found as noted- Host (Management co) not very responsive ahead of check in and had no response to texts with property issues. Only after leaving a voicemail on day 2 did we get a call with instructions on how to reset fuse box ourselves. We had to go to store to buy more towels. Host told us on booking they did not have access to VRBO app to give check in details which meant we were stressed about when and how we would get the checkin details, which came via text after we asked.This felt like a neglected property and lacked a polished, welcoming feeling. Had to squeeze in lower bedrooms because upper King so hot. Wish we booked hotel.
