Ocean & Haystack Rock View - Schnell und nah zum Strand!

Wir haben unser Cannon Beach-Haus in den späten 1980er Jahren gebaut und genießen es seitdem. Es ist ein großes zweieinhalbstöckiges Haus mit Meerblick im Westen und Süden, einschließlich Haystack Rock & the Needles. Sie können die Aussicht von zwei Sonnendecks oder von fast jedem Zimmer im Haus genießen.

IM HAUS ... ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer und eine Sonnenterrasse zum Faulenzen und Lesen; Alle mit Meerblick. Für stürmische Nächte gibt es einen Holzofen / Kamin. Es gibt auch viel Platz für Kunsthandwerk im Speisesaal sowie zum Spielen und Rätseln.

Die Kingsize-Mastersuite im Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein eigenes Bad (3/4) und seitlichen Meerblick.

Es gibt ein Queen-Schlafzimmer auf der gleichen Etage, mit Zugang zu kleinen Achterdeck und TV. Nutzt ein Badezimmer im zweiten Stock.

Ein zweites Queen-Schlafzimmer befindet sich in der obersten Etage und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Küste. Es verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und eine eigene Aussichtsplattform. Nutzt die zweite Hauptetagenbadewanne.

In der ersten / unteren Etage befindet sich ein komfortabler Lese- / Filmbeobachtungsraum mit einem Holzofen und einem modernen 50-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher. Im Untergeschoss befinden sich zwei Zweibettzimmer mit jeweils zwei Einzelbetten, die sich ein Badezimmer teilen. Die Waschküche befindet sich ebenfalls auf dieser Etage.

AUSSERHALB DES HAUSES ... zum Strand sind es nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß - unser Haus befindet sich auf der Ostseite von Hemlock, der Hauptstraße, die durch Cannon Beach führt. Sie müssen nur Hemlock überqueren und entweder einen kleinen Hügel oder eine öffentliche Treppe hinuntergehen, um zum Strand und zum Haystack Rock zu gelangen.

Midtown Cannon Beach ist 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß von unserem Haus entfernt, Downtown ist ca. 20 - 30, wenn Sie am Strand spazieren gehen. Es gibt auch einen Shuttlebus von der Stadt, den Sie nehmen können - Sie müssen nirgendwo hinfahren!

Great place for a family reunion

We had a great stay near Haystack Rock. The house is perfect for a family reunion and we appreciated that the kitchen was well supplied with dishes and utensils so we could prepare some of our own meals. Helen communicated all of the information we needed. The location was ideal as well.

Nice place for a gathering of friends! Pretty steep access to beach…especially on the way back! Quick drive into town for an easier access. Definitely would recommend!

Family vacation

The property is in a great location and the perfect size for our family. Eight adults and two children. It was easy to get to the beach and downtown. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and haystack rock. We will definitely try to book this again.

Perfect house for large family

This house had lots of room for our large family. 2 decks and a beautiful view of Haystack Rock and the beach. It was very well stocked-kitchen had everything we needed including spices. Sand toys and beach chairs and beach towels. Lots of blakets etc. Great location-short walk into town.

Awesome views of Haystack Rock off a patio on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean. There were plenty of bedrooms for the 8 people we had at the house. I would recommend it.

Eight PLU classmates celebrating our 80 th birthdays.

Simple to rent it, noise in VRBO office was distracting and couldn’t decifer answers without having them repeated. Helen our host was great. The time frames changes were not available so we could take advantage of them as we were all coming from different directions in different cars so that would have been nice to plan for extra time checking in and out. House was fine with/without cloudy days.

Haystack heaven

This is our second time at Helen’s property. We came with a group of friends from Seattle, Sacramento, Spokane and Tanzania. Our 4 kids (ages 11 months to 6 years), loved the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Jacob a high chair and pack n’play was very helpful. The views are wonderful, location is great, and the house is very comfortable and inviting. We hope to return soon!

Unbeatable view

We have been coming to Cannon Beach for years and have stayed in various properties. This is absolutely a five star home. This was perfect for our group of ten, including four teens. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The deck is a great size and has a gorgeous view of Haystack Rock and the ocean. We spent some beautiful days and evenings on that deck. It’s a short walk to the beach, only downside was the uphill return but that’s the trade off for the panoramic view. And close proximity to midtown and a pleasant twenty minute beach walk into downtown. We can’t wait to return and are ready to book again for next year. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!

Fun vacation! Beautiful area!

We were very impressed with the house and the communication we had with the owners/managers. Everything went very smoothly. The house is very clean and comfortable. It might be a little dated but everything was in good working condition. We found everything we needed, even all the tools for cracking and eating the 20 crabs we caught. The view was amazing. We especially loved the everyday sneak attacks launched by bald eagles on haystack rock. The walk to the beach is not far but very steep with lots of stairs. It was a little hard with lots of kids and all their gear. For adults, it’s a beautiful, relaxing walk. We had a great time and would definitely return. Thanks for a fun vacation!

Beautiful Views!!

We had 5 couples staying in the house. We loved the open layout of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The views of Haystack Rock and the ocean were amazing. There is close beach access to get down to the Haystack Rock beach area - it’s an easy walk. And it’s a quick drive to the downtown area. It’s a great location to use for day trips north and south along the coast. I recommend a trip to Fort Clatsop in Astoria.

Family Reunion

The house was spacious, had many views of the ocean from different rooms plus it was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the ocean view from the living room where our large family gathered to tell stories around the wood burning fireplace! Communication with the host was excellent and she was always very helpful. We will be back!

Luv, Luv, Luv this Vacation Rental!

Our family really enjoyed this vacation rental!! The home was well equipped for our week's stay; it was clean and very functional. Plenty of space for the 10 of us! The home was remarkable; it was an older home and displayed the love and care the original builders and owners had when they built it years ago. You could see the family touches everywhere. The furniture and the furnishings were mostly eclectic from years ago. The view was spectacular! We could see Haystack Rock from our home! It was just a short walk to the beach which was also spectacular! I definitely would recommend this home!

Stunning Views and extra details!

The home was welcoming and comfortable. We visited from Colorado for our daughter’s wedding and had all of the little extras tucked away in the bathroom and kitchen. The views were stunning and we actually preferred staying in the home on the deck each night to watch the sunset rather than going to the beach. There were views from several rooms including the window seat where you could read, play a game Or just relax. The short walk to the beach was great every morning!

Just as advertised!

Nine members of my family (6 adults, 3 preschool kids) stayed a week and thoroughly enjoyed the house and beach. The location of the house is excellent, size just as advertised, views of the ocean and Haystack Rock were good, and proximity to town was fine for those willing to walk a few minutes. For a house used frequently it was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The two decks, grill and outside table were definitely pluses that added to our enjoyment.
