Wonderful stay!
We had a great time at this beautiful, updated home. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Just a short walk from the house you can really see a good view of the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and not far from the home is the downtown shopping area. Great little town to visit! Thank you for having us!

Quite little canal
This little corner of Lake LBJ was quiet, cool and cozy. There is plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy whatever time you have. It’s very close to 2 different boat ramps and canal access to park a boat of small-med size. One of the public parks with a boat launch also has a large playground and restrooms.

Great family long weekend
We were able to enjoy visiting our Texas family and enjoyed having the luxury of staying in a spacious home. The grandkids liked the canoe. Also enjoyed watching the deer.

Visiting family in Granite Shoals
This house is conveniently located to our family’s house. We enjoy the house. The only drawback(for us) is the spiral staircase.
But, this was our second time to stay so we make it work.

Good for families
The house was set up well for two families, we had everything we needed for 11 people as far as bedrooms and meals. The only issue I had was the lake access. If you are coming to the lake and expecting to be able to use the boat dock area to tie up a boat or for the kids to be able to swim and play at the house don’t rent this house. I have a wakeboard boat that I had to trailer to the ramp everyday and pay an additional boat ramp fee everyday as well.

We come to the hill country every year for vacation this is a nice house the owners had their boat parked in front took up some parking spots that we wasn't aware of until we got thier site showed full parking the owner controlled the ac temperature remotely ac went out upstairs they did fix in a timely manner the water behind the house Was stagnant we had our own boat's so that wasn't a big deal just wished the pictures showed that no tv in any of the bedrooms but the house was nice and clean overall 1 thur 10 i would say 5 mainly because of the water

Cute and Cozy
The house was adorable, stairs were a little intimidating but there was another set outside so it worked out! Few minor things like the backdoor lock was broken (advised owner and manager they were already aware) the lights down at the dock/fishing area did not work (advised owner/manager) they were also aware of this which we wish we knew prior as we could have made adjustments. Also the thermostat is controlled by the owner so we had to ask that it be lowered or given access which they did once we asked. Overall the house was good and plenty of room to sleep but would definitely add TVs to the bedrooms!

Lovely weekend
My family and I enjoyed this beautifully renovated home. Great location in a quiet neighborhood and easy access to the lake. We brought kayaks but enjoyed using the canoe and paddle boards that were there. The water right off the dock and in the cove is shallow and unpleasant for swimming but takes your right out to the lake where it’s much cleaner. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need for cooking and serving. You will need to bring dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and showering toiletries. There were plenty of towels for showers and coming off the lake. The bedrooms were nice and beds are very comfortable. The outdoor area is very spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed fires by the water in the evening and watching the birds and deer all around us.

Lake inlet vacation
A week of play on the lake. The family rented a Seadoo and skied on the lake as well as wakeboarding, canoeing, swimming, feeding the ducks, geese, turtles and fish off a quiet dock. Being on a small inlet, it’s not conducive to swimming, but the house is close to a boat launch and a small swimming area. There is a playground for smaller kids not too far away. It is a lake house, so it up stairs and downstairs but it is newly updated and has a large bedroom and bath downstairs, a nice large modern kitchen and living space to relax. There is a traditional stairs outside to the second floor if the circular stairs is intimidating. The family enjoyed it and the decks and did not have time to try the televisions. So so bad...
Avoid. Don’t let the nice lake photo fool you. Occasionally, you come across a homeowner and poor-quality management at a VRBO. You not only pay a high price but experience embarrassment about your selection. This is that kind of place. 1) Back yard was filthy with every piece of furniture needing to be power washed. 2) The nice firepit in the photo was completely full of ash, unusable. 3) The boat slip in the photo looks clean and usable, but it is a broken old lift that only went down 8” in the water. 3) Trash is garbage cans in back yard. 4) BBQ was horrifically disgusting. I had to clean it myself. 5) The kitchen oven was so dirty that when we preheated it, smoke filled the entire downstairs. We had to clean it ourselves. 6) After that it was a hunt for the circuit breaker so to get the master bedroom outlets working. Breakers are behind a locked closet door. 7) All bedrooms have closets, but they are locked by the homeowner. 8) The upstairs bathroom light never worked. 9) There was the AC but every time we turned it down from 75 degrees, it would reset back within 30 minutes, like someone was watching and controlling it from remote. 10) The homeowner put up two wife cameras, creepy. 11) No soap or shampoo in either bathroom. 12) No check in person. Just, an email with a code to a half-broken keyless entry door lock. The owner doesn’t care, and the management only will not provide a refund of any sort. They do not answer the phone or return calls.
