Wenn Sie Ruhe suchen, Entspannung und wunderschöne SonnenuntergĂ€nge, ist dies der richtige Ort fĂŒr Sie. Das Hotel liegt nur 9 Meilen nördlich der Innenstadt Cape May und 8 Meilen östlich von Diamond Beach, Wildwood, gibt es viele AktivitĂ€ten fĂŒr alle in Ihrer Partei. FĂŒr Naturliebhaber, bringen Sie Ihr Fernglas die Fischadler, Adler und andere Vögel heimisch Cape May zu beobachten. Starten Sie Ihren eigenen Kajak bei Flut von unserem Strand oder gehen fĂŒr lange SpaziergĂ€nge mit Ihrem Hund.

Das Wasser ist sehr flach und viel Spaß Muscheln im Sand Bar bei Ebbe zu graben. FĂŒr Familienmitglieder, die ein bisschen mehr Action bevorzugen fahren, bis in die Stadt Cape May fĂŒr Shopping, Restaurants und Schwimmen im Meer. Die Kinder werden die Fahrten auf der Promenade in Wildwood sowie Rafting in den Ozean auf Diamond Beach lieben. RĂŒckkehr nach Hause nach einem Tag voller AktivitĂ€t und einzuschlafen, um den Klang des Wassers spritzt direkt vor dem Fenster.

Beautiful Sunsets

Stayed 3 nights for a girl's trip. The house is spacious and clean. Close to attractions such as downtown Cape May and wineries. Our favorite part was watching the sunset over the bay each night. Would recommend!

Beautiful sunsets house is nice, a little ride to cape may but worth the privacy and serine setting. I would stay again. Waking up to the sound of the bay out back is awesome.

Celebrating our 50th Anniversary with our family

A week with our daughter’s & preschool granddaughters, who loved exploring the extensive low tide sandbars and seeing the horseshoe crabs and laughing gulls. Lots of local restaurants and services and only a 20 minute drive to Wildwood and Cape May.

Nice quiet location

We enjoyed staying here. It was what we were looking for- on the quiet side of Cape May, lots of wildlife ( we spotted bald eagles, a coyote, many seabirds and tons of bunnies!) The neighborhood was peaceful, the house is nicely set up and was clean. The owner was responsive and we had a great time here.

Secrets by the bay

New Jersey Bayside is one of NJs best kept secrets. It has a wonderful serene and tranquil atmosphere and the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. That house was amazing and comfortable. We would recommend this house to anyone that wanted to have a relaxing time

Beautiful sunset over the Delaware Bay vacation

Beautiful property and beautiful views of the bay-sunsets, pelicans, an eagle and other birds. Only problem I had was with my GPS which did not want to put the address in to come to and from the property, so just put in a business nearby to get back and forth from Cape May. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Stunning Property, Majestic Views

We had an amazing time, thank you John for allowing us to stay in your home. The house was exactly as described, but better. The views are amazing throughout the house and the perfect décor in each room. We brought our dog who also loved everything about this property. The stairs are carpeted which made it easy for her to get up and down since she has a bad leg. We saw the resident eagle, many seagulls and egret. The bay at low tide is so cool, it recedes where you are able to walk out about 400 feet. Just like the song says, sitting on the dock of the Bay, watching the tide roll away.

EXCEPTIONAL PROPERTY!!

I booked this property for Thanksgiving break for my family, and everything about our experience was wonderful. The home is lovely, very well taken care of, and has a very cozy atmosphere. Awesome kitchen, comfy fireplace area, beautiful siiting space, and large bedrooms. The views of the water are exceptional, and accessibility to beach is perfect. Beautiful decks to sit on and watch the tide go in and out, and steps from the sand for walking the quiet and clean beach. Perfect getaway, completely relaxing. The property owner was accommodating throughout the entire rental process, from first contact to refunding security deposit, and everything in between. I will most definitely book this property in the future.

We had a rough start to the stay. The code the host gave us for check-in did not work to open the door. I nor VRBO could reach the host for a different code. We ended up booking a hotel room for the first night, which was a challenge with two young children. The host didn't return calls until after 10pm. He was apologetic, but it really soured the start to our vacation and we lost a day. VRBO did give us a partial refund. The views in the home are absolutely gorgeous and it was nice to be right on the water with a beach. However it would have been nice to know the bay water isn't really swimmable or safe to walk in due to high numbers of jellyfish. My kids couldn't even play at the edge of the water because they were washing up constantly. The beach was covered with about 30 dead horseshoe crabs which smelled terrible and was a bit upsetting to the kids. The home really does not have much in terms of supplies or amenities. It was the least equipped home I've ever stayed in, which was surprising for the cost. The listing stated towels & linens weren't included, which is a hassle but was at least stated. The only thing supplied were a few rolls of toilet paper. No hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods, sponges, washing detergent, paper towels, etc. The sand bars at low tide were very cool and my older child loved walking them and catching hermit crabs. I'm not sure if I would return. The home really isn't set up for families and barely feels set up for guests.

Disappointed

Before I start I want to say we did get a full refund. But we should have never been allowed to book the property. Before we arrived the property owner mentioned the heat wasn't working well but that he provided space heaters (more on that later). When we arrived the house is right on the water and the views were breath taking. But the house itself and the property left much to be desired. Initially walking in we found at-least lol a dozen alive & dead wasps. Along with another dozen live lady bugs crawling on the walls. When we opened the refrigerator a very gross and pungent smell came pouring out. Along with mold growing on the shelves. Upon calling the owner he said he MIGHT be able to get someone out the next day, which was Christmas Eve. And he also said maybe we could go to Wawa and get ice for the cooler. And that the cleaners were there the day before. Also the space heaters were so small they wouldn't have made a difference in the freezing downstairs. And on top of it all there was a camera in the main living area. The owner said we could put a cup over it, but I thought having camera was against VRBO policy. Clearly he was not caring for the property in the way we expected. We were so grossed out and uncomfortable we left the property and took our business elsewhere.

We built this house in 2010 after many years of planning. It has qualities of a sanctuary, close to nature, with the bay in front and wetlands behind. The sun rises over the wetlands and sets over the bay. Light pollution is minimal, so there are breathtakingly starry nights. We marvel at how restful our sleep is, with the waves gently lapping the shore thirty feet away.

Get the fun, adventure and crowds of the shore, when you want them, get a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. You can sit on the deck and watch the water for a long time without getting bored.
