Beautiful Mandalay, nestled into the hillside in the exclusive residential enclave of Terres Basses in French St. Maarten, enjoys a superb view over the Caribbean and the picturesque sunsets of the nearby beach of Plum Bay.

Just recently refurbished, this stylish home offers five bedrooms, contemporary interiors, and a large private pool and outdoor terraces.

From the entrance doors, flanked by oriental figurines, a reception area with glass walls and an ornamental garden opens into the main L-shaped living area and its beautiful view over the ocean and the pool area below. The cooling gray and white interior of the living room features contemporary furnishings in natural wood, a TV viewing area with a cream-coloured linen couch, and a large Samsung Smart TV. There is indoor dining with a large table and seating for ten adjacent to the open plan modern kitchen with Bosch and Smeg appliances and long gray stone countertops. A second refrigerator and further storage space can be found to the rear of the kitchen and an intimate outdoor terrace, perfect for breakfast or for brunch, can be accessed via glass sliding doors. Further covered terraces leading from the living room provide ample space for outside living and dining and for enjoying the beautiful Caribbean sunsets.

Steps from the covered terrace lead down to the pool area below and to a hexagonal gazebo offering further outdoor seating. The L-shaped pool can be accessed by steps or by a gently sloping and shallow beach area and is surrounded by potted palms and ornamental rock and flowering cactus gardens.

All five bedrooms at Mandalay feature contemporary and monochromatic decor in natural fabrics and beautiful en-suite bathrooms in beige and black natural stone. Each bedroom has a large smart TV and the master also features a large walk-in closet. Each of the bedrooms can be accessed from the interior whilst the master and second bedrooms also have direct access to the pool terrace.

Mandalay enjoys complete privacy and is within walking distance to the beautiful and natural beach of Plum Bay.
